“ú–{‚ւ悤‚±‚» !  I would of liked to write this whole article in Japanese, but I am sure most trainers in today’s race are American.  So with that, what I said about was ”Welcome to Japan!”  Yes, that is how you say welcome to Japan in Japanese.  No, I do not speak Japanese. (Thank God for the internet and online translation lol)  Now you all got a free Japanese lesson today though so be happy.  Now to what all of you are tuning in for.  We have a great race today here in Japan, with 12 three year old fillies and mares ready to battle it out in a 8 furlong firm turf race.  So with out further a due lets meet today’s runners.

PP 1.  The 6/1 odd Couch Couch is going to get the start out of gate one today.  This three year old Kentucky bred is coming off some ok stakes performances the last three outings.  Speed figures have not been way up there, but hey two wins in three races is still ok with me.  Azyoucanc will put his faith in jockey L. Rigdon for today’s race.  Rigdon has 1200 races under his belt with an 8.5 winning percentage.  Couch’s last three races have all been in listed stakes.  She has won two out of three in those postings SPfs of 92, 90, and 102.

PP 2. Another Kentucky bred in Boiscool will head out of gate 2 today.  This 8/1 shot is entered today by boble14.  This girl’s life has been all about graded races, as she has 9 races ran with 6 of those being graded races.  In her last three, all grade ones, she has hit the board just once in a 101 SP, second place finish.  The other two races have been 6 and 12th place finishes with SPfs of 89 and 87.  Jockey C. Roser will hope that he can maybe raise those SPfs as well as his ITM and Winning percentages.  He has 3700 races and a 14.1 winning percentage.

PP 3.  Owner seedley2 will hope the luck of the Irish will be with his horse Projectionist in today’s race.  This Irish bred horse will look for her first graded win of her career.  Her last three races, all in grade three’s, have not been great.  Two fifth place finishes on a dirt track have gotten this horse SPfs of 91 and 91.  Her last race out was another turf race resulting in an 85 SP, 14th place finish.  Jockey Me Spencer will look to ride this 16/1 shot into the winners circle.  Spencer’s lifetime percentage is 8.9 with 1400 races under his belt.

PP 4.  The second Irish bred horse to have invaded Japan today is Sheer Drop.  This 7/1 shot was entered into the race today by tatty2.  R. Lott will ride this girl to what he hopes is her 7th win of her career.  I must say that she has 6 wins in a row, and I do not care if this were a claimer, 6 wins is impressive.  SP’s have only been increasing for this girl as her last three outings have been 97, 96, and 101.  Her only failed attempt at a win came in her career opener where she posted a 77 SP, third place finish in a MSW.  Lott will hope to raise his 9.3 winning percentage with his 1186th career race.

PP 5.  14/1 shot Maison Carree looks to get back on the winning track after not hitting the board in the last two races.  Owner soulbleed looks for this Kentucky bred to stalk the pace for a little while before coming back.  SPfs have been on the rise for this girl in her last three races.  Even though results don’t show, her SPfs have been 86, 86, and 95.  In her last race out, a Grade III race, she finished 5th with the 95 SP.  Jockey A. Blundin will hope this girl earns him some money as he has a 9.3 winning percentage in 1480 career races.

PP 6.  The middle point horse of today’s race is, wouldnft you guess it, another Kentucky bred.  Yes Eternity In Hell will look to raise her SP a little more than what she has been running.  Owner super5 will put his faith in jockey G. Arnold to bring home the bacon today.  Arnold has a whooping 7500 career races with a 17.0 winning percentage.  In her last three races, this 6/1 shot has done ok in Graded Stakes.  Her last three races have been two Grade III’s and one Grade I.  The Grade I performance was not run well at all where she earned an 8th place finish with an 89 SP.  Her last race out was a good recover though in a 99 SP, third place performance.

PP 7.  We are over the hill now, and starting to climb down the back side.  Starting today’s second six, we have Screamo also the favorite in todayfs race.  Younggroup will send this girl out with jockey P. Vincent on her back.  Vincent owns a 10.7 winning percentage in 1800 career races.  As for this Kentucky bred, she has done nothing but gone up lately.  A win last time out in the Grade I Think Globally Breed Locally Restricted Stakes earned her a 97 SP.  Two races back she ran a 91 SP in another Grade I race.  This girl will be sitting at 5/1 coming out of the gate.

PP 8.  The 8/1 shot Whipped will look to make it four in a row in today’s race.  Snags hopes that jockey W. Ratzlaff can get it done on his horse today.  Ratzlaff has 1500 races under his belt, along with a 10.8 winning percentage.  As for Whipped, this girl ran a great race last time out.  Following up two allowance wins of 84, and 91 SPfs, this girl won last time out again.  Only last time out this was with all the big girls.  This was not just an ALW race no more, but a Grade I.  She said that don’t bother me, I’ll just run a whooping 108 SP and earn a first place finish.

PP 9.  The 10/1 shot Grey Goose Gimlet will be looking to represent all of the local breds in today’s race.  The only Japan bred hose in the race will be sent out to run by skunkfeed2.  He hopes K. Ledwith can ride his horse to the winners circle in todayfs race.  Ledwith has 4600 career races under his belt along with a huge 28.8 winning percentage.  Yes, winning percentage not ITM.  As for the girl, she has been up and down her last three races.  Last time out she ran a 96 SP in a Grade I race, and earned a first place finish while two times out ago she only ran a 90 SP, and got 4th.  That was in another Grade I race as well.

PP10.  The French are all rooting for the long shot in todayfs race, as Better Talk Mop gets the call up to graded material.  This 19/1 shot will look to continue what she started two races ago.  Emirates agrees that the yielding turf last time out did not show the true potential of this girl as she ran a 85 SP while coming in second.  However, two races back she earned a first place finish in a listed stakes running a 96 SP.  With 1500 races in his career, N. Haller will look to get this girl a graded win.  Haller has a 9.21 winning percentage.

PP 11.  Another foreign bred will get the call in today’s race as we start to wind down.  This 13/1 shot was entered into the race today by owner harvey.  A. Hudson will hope to ride this horse into the winners circle today as he has 4400 races in him with a 12.2 winning percentage.  Eden Valley looks to find herself back where she was two races ago in a 91 SP, winning performance in a Grade I race.  Last time out this girl ran a better SP, but got fourth place.  She ran a 94 SP in another Grade I race.

PP 12.  A 6/1 shot rounds out todayfs field in the Japanese 1000 Guineas.  Muchlucha looks for this Irish bred horse to bring home a W in todayfs race.  Wickedly Cool is on a 6 race winning streak, although she made it interesting last time out.  In her last race she ran a 99 SP in a Grade III race, only winning by a hd.  Her SP’s have only been increasing to as she got a W in a listed stakes two runs ago, only running an SP of 97.  As for the jockey, W. Lloyd will look to raise his 10.9 winning percentage as he has nearly 1500 races in his career.

Well that wraps up the field for todayfs race.  It looks to be a very interesting race from start to finish today here in Japan.  If I had to choose I would go with numbers 7, 12, 2, and 6.  If I had to choose a long shot to hit the board I would seriously go with the number 9.  Remember for all of your Sim race previews and race recaps visit the Black Type Bugler forum.  This has been Dydalt with your pre race preview here in Japan.  As for the Japanese lesson, ‚¨‚©‚°‚ƁAƒŒ[ƒX‚ðŽn‚߂邱‚Æ‚ª‚Å‚«‚Ü‚·.  This means thanks and let the races begin.  Thanks for reading and we will see you all next time.  Good luck to all!
