Indy Appeal Takes First In GR Simsters 2 Year Old Show Case Dirt Race
In what was a first race for all but 1 horse today, Indy Appeal wins in a close one. Upperhand2 told me that he was happy with the way his horse preformed in today’s race. He said he thought she ran “ok” for his first race of his career. He said he expects more out of this horse as the races begin to progress. It was a close one at the wire as Past Evidence ran second.
Indy Appeal- Our first place finisher today ran a 69 SP while leading the entire way. He started off shooting right out of the gate and by the first call was a length ahead. A length and 3/4ths ahead at the second call was stretched to 2 and 3/4ths lengths before being chased down by our second place horse. Jockey P. Davis will pick up the win on this boy.
Past Evidence- Owned by cheyenne15, this young colt was the only other horse to have a previous race. It was a win coming in a 4.5 furlong race. Running a 64 in that race was only the beginning as it continued to rise, and he ran a 68 today. This boy was 3 and ½ lengths back going into the second call, before kicking it into another gear, and almost making it 2 for 2 in his young career.
Tyranny Of Evil- Picks up the 3rd place finish after tying with City of
Interesting Facts—Out of 9 racers, 5 were colts and 4 were mares. The highest mare was Sinister’s Vow Posting a 57 SP and fifth place finish. All but 1 of these horses had had previously run races.
