Hazards Of Bleach Comes Back To Take GR Simsters 2 Year Old Showcase Turf
Running a first race is always difficult, but when it’s a stakes race, then you know it will be interesting. It was a first race for all but one of these young 2 year olds today. Hazards of Bleach made his first career start today coming back and taking the gold in today’s race. He was never more than ¾ lengths behind before coming back and taking the race. Lenny27 told me he was ecstatic about the win today, and he hops this boy keeps it going.
Hazards of Bleach- Ran with the pack the whole race. He was sitting in 3rd, but only ¾ lengths behind at the second call, before kicking it into gear and winning the race. J. Migliore gets the win today on Hazzards, who posted a 67 SP in the race.
Sadler’s Channel- Ran a pretty strong race from start to finish. Was in first the whole time, and set the pace for the whole race. Was only 1 length back from the winner, with this colt running a 65 SP.
Limitless Sky- Whew! What a comeback this horse was making. Was in 8th at the first call, and was 2 ½ lengths back. Never was more than 3 ¾ lengths back at the second call when he was sitting in 7th. Kicked into gear, but ended up third. Looks like this horse may like more ground to work with.
Today’s race featured 3 Mares and 6 Colts, with a total of 9 horses running. Only 1 horse had had a previously run race which was Champs Dominique who ran 7th and posted a 50 SP. Horses and Trainers for today’s Race were as follows.
