Grade III Flying Pig Stakes
Well it looks like its going to be a beautiful day in the simulated world of horse racing today. Today I am bringing you the Grade III Flying Pig Sprint. We have 11 horses running today all hungry for a graded win. The odds on the horses today are pretty close with only one 99/1 and a 21/1. It looks to be a good race going five furlongs on the fast dirt, for a purse of 125,000 dollars! Now let’s introduce the 11 horses competing for today’s race.
In PP number 1 we have BENNY BEING BENNY. Benny is a 6/1 shot and is the hands of the proud owner ebryant. He will be ridden today by B Orazio. Orazio is 367-68-58-64 this year in races earning 732,000 and has an ITM of 52%. Benny is sired by More Than Ready. Her career looks like this 25-8-5-2 with his last 3 times out looking like this St.-104-3rd, St.-103-2nd, and G2-101-9th.
In PP number 2 we have HIGHER AUTHORITY. This mare is in the gate with odds sitting at 10/1. She belongs to the trainer mistymorn and will be ridden by F Oates. Oates is 65-5-9-3 this year in races earning 1,038, and has an ITM of 26%. Higher Authority is sired by Peace Rules, and is coming in on a 3 race winning streak. Her career looks like this 37-15-9-1 with his last 3 out looking like Alw-97-1st, Alw-101-1st, and Alw-99-1st.
In PP number 3 we have STANDING AROUND. One of the long shots in the race but only with odds at 21/1. Yes that is how close the odds are saying 21/1 is one of the long shots. In PP number 4 we have REDOUTE’S NINER. She has got odds of 7/1 on her and is the horse of zewango2. This 4 year old will be ridded by jockey H Moran. Moran this yea is 78-9-7-7 and has an ITM of 29%. As for Redoute’s, she is sired by Redoute’s Choice. Now entering the gate at PP number 5 we have SJ’S GHOST DANCE. One of the many horses with low odds today at 9/2, she comes in to this race from the stable factorx. F Power will be hoping for a graded win atop SJ’s Ghost Dance. Power this year is 360-78-53-48, with an ITM of 50%. As for the horse… well let’s just say that he is on a roll, Sired by Silver Ghost, and with career numbers that look like this, 17-10-0-1. He is coming in off of 4 straight wins! His last 3 wins show his numbers at Stk-108-1st, Stk-107-1st, and G2-108-1st.
Due up next in PP number 6 we have MY GODDESS. Another favorite at 5/1 this mare is in the stable learfan55. Atop this Kentucky Goddess will be I Stevenson. Stevenson is 266-26-34-37 this year with an ITM of 36%. As for this Goddess, she is sired by A.P. Indy, and has career numbers of 18-9-3-0. She has had quite a jump from her last three which are Alw-103-1st, Alw-102-2nd, and Alw-111-1st, into a G3.
Now on the track in PP number 7 we have MAIL ORDER BRIDE. With odds of 5/1 and being one of the favorites, this girl is in the hands of zapspride, and will be ridden by the [mail order jockey ;)] named D North. North this year is 134-22-17-7, with an ITM of 34%. The sire of Mail Order Bride is Gone West while her career numbers look like this 29-11-3-3. Her last 3 appearances show these numbers Stk-108-2nd, Stk-102-5th, and Stk-102-3.
In PP number 8 we have RED CAROADO. Caroado is the long shot today with odds of 99/1. She is in the stable fozziejr4. Atop Caroado today will be the jockey B Cusack. Cusack this year is 67-4-6-6 with an ITM of 24%. This Mare is going to need a great jump to get this one. Sired by Red Bullet, her career numbers show 32-3-4-3, with her last 3 out at Alw-74-2nd, Alw-78-6th, and Starter-82-7th.
3 more to go and now, and we start off with a horse on a 3 race win streak. In the 9th PP we have ERENDIRA SLAM. She has one of the higher odds of the day, but only at 9/1. Juliotto sends this mare in on a 3 race win streak. Atop Erendira today is
AGE OF KALI is next in PP number 10. This girls odds are sitting at 6/1, not to far from the top. She is in the stable dokki3, and will be ridden by a jockey by the name of P Johnson. Johnson this year is 72-9-3-8, and has an ITM of 28%. Age of Kali is sired by Forty Niner. Kali’s career numbers are sitting at 20-6-0-8, and her last 3 out sitting at Stk-101-3rd, Alw-105-1st, and Alw-103-1st.
And last but certainly not least in PP number 11 (drum roll) we have (another drum roll) at 6/1 odds, coming from the stable of meguire6th and ridden by W Carter the horse named STRIKE THE BEAT. Carter this year has numbers of 62-5-6-5, and has an ITM of 26%. The sire of Strike The Beat is Strike the gold. Strike the beat comes into this race with a career record of 19-5-1-4, and her last 3 out look like this… Alw-108-1st, Alw-110-1st, and G2-103-8th.
That is the end of our pre race special. This is looking to be a great race with any one of these horses competing for the win. I don’t see a horse here that does not have an chance at all to get the win. If I were to pick a winner it would have to be SJ’s Ghost Dance. Why? Well horses are like teams… It seems as if they get on a roll they stay on a roll until they get beat. I don’t think this will be the day she does though. If you are looking to pick up some quick cash I would suggest betting on the horses of Higher Authority and Erendira Slam.
