Blockbuster crowd expected for Ruby Slipper

Just 7 days from the Ruby Slipper the atmosphere is reaching boiling point. Held in similar regard to a Kentucky Derby, Breeders Cup or Cox Plate, the Ruby Slipper is a race that each and every Conglomerate member strives to win. A field of 12 will assemble for the Conglomerate’s biggest racing event and history will be made in Victoria in front of what promises to be a 100,000 strong crowd.

Several questions remain to be answered;

Can the Slipper King Wolfgang Vansheen live up to his name?

How will the fillies stack up to the colts?

Can the series generate a superstar of the future, in the same vein as 2007 Breeder’s Bowl heroin Buck’s Party and multiple stakes winning flying filly Invincibility?

Can Gianluigi Aggulotto or Captain Nog overhaul the two more fancied trainers Wolfgang Vansheen and Deyoto Lefranse?

Can anyone overhaul the boom colt Prince Bear, impressive colts’ prelude winner?

Can Captain Nog pull off an upset like he did last year with one hit wonder Bloody Invincible?

Who will be the Ruby Slipper winner of 2008?

4 trainers will again be represented this year following all of Luca Gilberto’s horses failing to qualify for the prestigious event.
