for all those new players, and there appears to be quite a few at this time, and those who struggle at the listed and graded level, I highly recommend the Bargain Bred Racing Series. Knightmare does a great job with the series and there isn’t anything else in the Sim that gets you more bang for your buck…
Want to compete at the stakes level with inexpensive bred horses…look no further than the Bargain Bred Racing Series, you won’t regret it…
Agree with Trotter. I don’t enter as many these days due to not having bred up any recently but the series is amazing fun and top notch a truly level playing field with 0 spend needed.
I’m giving it a try for the first time
I totally recommend! Without bargain bred series, the sim would lost half of its fun for me.
It’s different experience. In regular races, you also doing some research, but in the end you always desire to earn some points for Giant’s Causeways, Deep Impacts, Galileos etc.
In this series, you are working with bloodlines more carefully, looking for the secret recipes that work… then you find a Japan or South African sire, who has plenty of stakes winners in real life, but costs only 20 points in sim and you are absolutely sure, that you are going to breed a future star. It may not always be so, but the fun is guaranteed.
And from time to time, you breed horse for the series, who runs competitively in regular stakes or even graded races and you are damn proud of what you did with a few credits :).
Last but not least. In the series, you are witness of long lasting rivalries, bargain champions, who you follow from their early age until the end of their career…
Stay with a bargain series for a while and you are going to see what I am talking about :).
