# 1
makan impact simond2 barn b moore 13/1
This four year old daughter of Holy Roman Empire has seven wins in twenty career starts including a streak of four in a row as a two year old. Had a disappointing seventh place finish last time out over seven furlongs at the “Strong Prospect Dirt Mare Dash” following a win at the “Rockstar Dirt Mare Route”. She likes this distance but may not have enough to compete with this group.
# 2
the power ball bbaffert barn l radzinski 4/1
This five year old mare has had a busy career with twenty-seven starts to date with her last being a third place finish at the “Nimble Flyer Dirt Mare Memorial”. She has shown good speed of late and has finished in the money in all but three of her last ten starts. The recent speed is hard to ignore and she might surprise here today in her first Grade 2 start.
# 3
malibu malice knightowl barn m brown 9/1
This four year old daughter of Palace Malice won last time out at an allowance race in Arizona over seven furlongs. She raced almost exclusively at Graded Stakes races in 2017 and finished in the money in four of seven of those starts. Most impressive were come from behind second and third place finishes at the “Manhattan District” and “Chestnut Stakes”. Interested to see how she matches up here today against this field of ten.
# 4
seattle moon lv bizalls10 barn s kewmwa 8/1
This impressive filly has finished in the money in all but one of her ten starts and comes in on winning streak of three in a row. Her most recent win came at the “Daring Czar Dirt Mare Mile” in Colorado on February 3. She posted big speed that day to win by a length and a half over eight furlongs. She may not win here today but she will be a factor and should finish in the money.
# 5
wake up the world mtkwantsmore barn mj kelly 7/1
This young filly has raced almost exclusively on Turf and had success there with five wins in eleven starts. Her last two have been on the dirt however and the switch has resulted in back to back wins with the most recent being at this distance at the “Bragg Creek Dirt Mare Mile”. She hopes to keep the momentum going here today out of the five hole.
# 6
wanyuwa liamswan barn j selden 5/1
Had a nice stretch of races to finish up the 2017 campaign with one win and four runner ups. In her first start of this year she competed in her first Stakes Race and finished fifth at the “Nimble Flyer Dirt Mare Memorial”. She may be overmatched here making the jump to Grade 2 and might be better over a longer distance.
# 7
primetime mischief widelab barn z ayya 9/1
Our oldest and most experienced entry comes in fresh off a win at an allowance race a few weeks ago in Michigan. Four of her seven career wins have come since new ownership at widelab barn claimed her just over a year ago. She has bounced around between a few barns with this being her fourth home. She seems to be performing fairly well and has settled in nice at this distance. She may not have enough speed to compete here today.
# 8
nyah freddurst barn m chreky 7/1
Has won her last two starts, taking home the “Howling Success Dirt Mare Special” last time out. Has some experience in Graded Stakes races and had a win at the Grade 3 “Timber Stakes” as a three year old and a third place finish at the Grade 2 “Golfers Wager” last May. She should be competitive here today and could challenge for a spot on the board.
# 9
azimov knightcat barn w gunn 4/1
Had a nice second place finish in her first start of the year at the “Santillana Dirt Mare Route”. Trying a shorter distance when most of her success has come at longer routes. Has shown some decent speed over her career and may be a surprise here today.
# 10
just take a shot graywolf33 barn m staples 10/1
This young daughter of Twirling Candy is entering her third consecutive Grade 2 Stakes with the previous resulting in fourth and fifth place finishes against strong fields. Her only win came in her first race of 2017 and she has not finished in the money since late August. She will be in tough here today and will need her best to compete with this group.
