This four years old colt will be testing stakes for the first time. He has won at this distance with ease and should not be over looked as a threat here. Expect him to accompany BARB’S ADVENTURE in stalking pace setter NORTHERN ROCK during the early fractions.

Palace Music x Al Hattab
He comes into this event as the heavy morning line favorite. A winner of five stakes events in six starts, his moves to the lead from a pressuring stalking position has made many high light films. A graded stakes winner- he will probably show early patience and have a lot left in his tank when the time comes to make his move.

Kris(GB) x Lyphard
A former claimer -that has been versatile on both running surfaces. At seven years of age, one has to wonder if he is beginning to slow down. A non stakes winner over a span that fives years (including two straight inactive seasons).

Harlan’s
A late runner-that has gone up against graded stakes talent in many of his recent outings. This group may be closer to his level of talent. A good pace should increase his chances.

Rainbow Quest x Storm Cat
He will most likely be the pace setter from the fifth post position. In fact, he may be the sole early speed and Esperado may ask him to slow the pace and try to stay the distance. He has recently struggled at longer trips, so even at 12 furlongs- he may find the distance more suitable.
NORTHERN ROCK will take the early lead with BARB’S ADVENTURE keeping him within their sights. PRESTO and PARTY MUSIC will sit back deeper off the pace; will hopes for a quicker pace and some pressure up front on the lead. BARB’S ADVENTURE looks tough in this even and will seize the lead as NORTHERN ROCK tires. PARTY MUSIC should be in good position to move forward in the stretch, while AWESOME MAGPIE should prove that he belongs in stakes level competition.
