Not Bluffing Dead Serious

Not Bluffing was dead serious about winning The Mohammad Ali Stakes this time around.  The handsome son of Pine Bluff, runner-up in last years Ali, stormed down the middle of the racetrack to post a narrow decision over Here For The Party and Twist Of Lemon.

Looney1’s five year old raced in the middle of the pack for most of the nine furlong test.  Jockey Cadigan angled the rangy stallion out in mid-stretch and he did the rest.  Here For The Party was gallant in defeat, losing by a long nose.  Third place finisher Twist Of Lemon finished full of run in his show effort.

Not Bluffing covered the mile and one-eighth in a respectable 1:48.3 while earning a 103.  This was Not Bluffing’s second graded success having won last year’s edition of The Grade II Iowa Cornhusker BB Classic at Prairie Meadows.
