Seven hot fillies are all looking for Frank’s Love this weekend.  Who will be the winner?  Here they are:

Breaking from the hedge is Artistway’s sensational homebred, Tommy.  The lightning quick chestnut is a rapidly diminishing half length away from eight wins in a row.  Last time out she dusted a sensational field of graded winners in Tampa’s Grade II Black Betty.  Prior to that, she won the Grade III Good Vista at River Downs.  Her breeding suggests that you can’t have too much Northern Dancer in your pedigree (Danzig x Nijinsky II x Nureyev).  Co-favorite is razor sharp and is sure to make her presence felt.

Trainer Hook sends out Cash In The Bank(ire) looking for graded glory.  The daughter of Barathea(ire) from the multiple stakes producing Mr. Prospector mare, Jerry’s Turks, is already graded placed on dirt and is a multiple stakes winner on the grass.  Cash In The Bank(ire) has not been out since her disappointing finish in Equinics’ Roy Higgins.  Certainly has the class to bounce back.

Win, win, win, win, win.  That’s all Sadfly’s Dubai does.  Win.  As in twenty-one in her storied career.  As in ten within the last year.  As in two in a row.  As in eight of her last ten.  Win.  Rose’s E Dubai mare has won three graded stakes and has earned over a million dollars.  Sadfly’s Dubai exits Wisconsin’s The Greek Goddess Special.  She dueled fellow graded winning millionaire Leprechaun Hunt into submission and still had plenty left in the tank to hold off  Tintoretta(ire).  Certainly figures high in here.

Barn25dog’s streaking Deputy Hunter could not possibly be sharper.  The flashy chestnut has won three turf stakes in a row and five of her six lifetime grass starts.  By Deputy Minister from the well named but poorly performed A.P. Indy mare Taliban Hunter, Deputy Hunter keeps going faster and faster each start.  She posted a career best 104 speed figure last time out.  Cocked, locked and ready to rock!

Whispering Sound is quietly making a name for herself.  Given2’s homebred began her career inauspiciously with a pair of dull efforts on the main course in California.  She immediately picked it up with a switch to turf.  The Miswaki filly has now exhausted her allowance conditions and picked up her first stakes win last time out winning New South Wales’ Svengali Me Handicap.  She captured that event in wire-to-wire fashion while posting a 103 speed figure and will likely be forwardly placed again on Saturday.  Sharp barn is confident she can step forward.

Royally bred Riverboat Queen is by A.P. Indy from the Grade I winning millionaire mare Proud Mary.  Torrential’s five year old won the Grade III Bird of Prey Stake last fall but is winless in six tries ever since.  Her most recent start, in a race named for her dam, resulted in a disappointing last place finish.  Needs to regain her magic to contend here.

Multiple Grade I winning millionaire Spicegirl carries Tresstables’ black, silver and gold colors into battle.  The gorgeous gray was a starlet at age two and has been superb ever since.  She hasn’t lost a step in the midst of her fourth racing campaign.  The daughter of Southern Halo finished a short head behind SJ’s Silver Ghost in the 2003 Breeders Bowl Juvenile Turf Filly.  At age three she won The 1000 Guineas and at four she annexed The G.S.R. Mares.  Co-choice has a strong possibility of adding the Frank’s Love to her already impressive resume.
