Ollie’s Gone Stakes His Claim to Greatness!

The Kcusrocek Stakes
Grade III
One mile on Firm Turf
$125,000
All horses, 3 years old

OLLIE’S GONE looked as if he had wings as he flew from the back of the pack to win the KCUSROCEK Stakes going away today in Ireland. From looking like he had no chance at the midpoint of the race to the easy win was quite a thing of beauty for the rowdy patrons of the race course. It was the fourth win in only six races along with a close second in the Equinics for the Gone West colt and trainer BeamNReason certainly has “reason to be beamin”. This colt has moved up to twelfth in the rankings and may rise higher in those rankings in the coming weeks.

SANDY HAWLEY was the early leader and held that lead clear through the top to the top of the stretch. It was then that OLLIE’S GONE whooshed by him on the way to the wire. Seemingly riding in the wake of the winner were both INEPT DISTORTIONS, who finished second and also PHYL THE CAT who came in third. INEPT DISTORTIONS was actually behind OLLIE at the half and chased him all the way home.

It looks like OLLIE’S GONE is going to be the most successful of 10 year old Broodmare FANTASTIC OLLIE’s three sons and that is saying something as all are multiple winners with a total of nearly One Million dollars between them. It looks like the sky is the limit for this colt and he should be fun to watch the rest of this three year old season.
