Mr. Men(AUS) Impressive In Wire-To-Wire Victory

With so much up-front speed in today’s Knights Bluff Stakes, it is probably no surprise that the top three finishers ran 1-2-3 throughout the entire six furlongs. Mr. Men(AUS) took command right out of the gate and never looked back. Siraneena(AUS) followed, and did make an attempt in the stretch, but Mr. Men(AUS) simply found another gear and wouldn’t even allow her to close the distance between them. Exbourne’s Lookout ran third, just holding off a challenge by French Afleet. Counterfeit God won the photo for fifth. Today’s win boosts Mr. Men(AUS) into the #15 spot among 2yo filly turf sprinters. She ran a career-best 84 and has now banked over $158K. As predicted, Siraneena(AUS) did break the 80 speed barrier.
