Who will win Indiana’s Haphazardly Stakes? Jhiqui or Auror Athenae

Who will win Indiana’s Haphazardly Stakes? Jhiqui or Auror Athenae

Indiana is set to host a $85,000 Stakes for 3yo Fillies over A Mile and three eights

On Dirt. Can Jhiqui beat Auro Athenae or will the two Computer horses knock them out.

1 – Jhiqui – Evens

Point Given x Awesome Again x Easy Goer

– This magnificent daughter of Point Given trained by Khalasar comes to the track as equal favourite. In 12 starts she has been ITM 66% of the time. The jockey aboard is R Stacy who has a Win Percentage of 11%. In her 7th start she ran in a Allowance over 9 Furlongs on Dirt. Their she won the race by 4 lengths and opened a bright future for this filly. In her next start she ran last in a Stakes being injured and out for about 2 months. When she came back she had a easy Allowance win over 9 lengths by more then 2 lengths. 3 starts ago she won another Allowance by 2 ½ lengths over 10F with a 96 Speed Figure. In her next start she went to the Smackdown Residency Challenge. She represented GR Simsters and did it very well running 4th by 5 lengths to some Classic Winners. Last Time Out the owner stretched her out to 14 Furlongs on Dirt where she ran 2nd place in a Stakes with a 92 Speed Figure. She lost by 1 ½ lengths on that occasion. Trainer Given or Khalasar said “She’s on the cusp of breaking out and becoming a star filly, and I hope this is the week that she realizes how good she can be.” This small field will suit this magnificent filly as she can sit back last and pounce on the runners with only 3 obstacles to go past.

2 – Inconceivable – 5/1

A.P. Indy x Sadler’s Wells x Sassafras

– This blueblood comes into this race representing the Computer stable. This filly has won 2 races in her career which were pretty impressive. Last start she ran 4th in a Allowance by 6 ¾ lengths with a 85SF. I think this filly might go better with the extra distance.

3 – Auror Athenea – Evens

Atticus x Giant’s Causeway x Kingmambo

– Well the other favourite in this race sired by Atticus. This filly is the most raced horse in the field which isn’t in her favour as she has had 16 starts with 4 wins and 7 placings. She has nearly $130,000 in career earnings. This filly loves to sit sprint which will be very good for her as she will probably sit second and sprint away until Jhiqui comes sprinting home. 6 starts back over 9.5 Furlongs on dirt she won a Stakes race by 2 lengths with a 94SF. Her next two starts were in Stakes where she placed 2nd in both of them running over 11 & 12 furlongs. In her next start she had a major step up in company where she ran in the 10 Furlong Players National Oaks versing a lot of Classic fillies. She sat 9th and just went further back the whole race to finish 11th losing by over 15 lengths. Next start she ran in the G1 Birmingham Stks over 10 furlongs. She ran 9th place with a 90SF losing by 10 lengths. Last start over 9 Furlongs she ran 3rd in a Stakes. She lead and tired to run 3rd with a 98 Speed Figure. If she gets the right run she will give Jhiqui something to chase.

4 – Saucy Girl – 6/1

Langfuhr x Cozzene x Garthorn

This daughter of Langfuhr is in the Computer Stable just filling empty fields. 5 starts ago she had won 2 races in a row when it came to a end when she ran a long 4th in a Allowance. In her next few starts she ran horrible so the trainer gave her to the CPU. Last start she ran last by 22 lengths in a 10.5F Stakes.

Selections

Ive tipped Jhiqui for first as I think after running at 14 Furlongs last start in a stakes she has the class to take away this race. Second ill put in Auror Athenea who has showed she can run alright in the major Grade 1’s. For third ill put in Inconvincible as she is bred better.
