The Sunflower
Grade 2 – Purse $375,000
Restricted to 4+ Fillies and Mares
6 furlongs on Dirt

Today we are at Gulfstream Park in sunny Hallandale Beach Florida for the “G2 Sunflower”, a six furlong race on the dirt featuring some of the best older fillies and mares that the Sim has to offer. They’re racing for the winner’s share of the $375,000. This is a closely matched group so jockey tactics and racing luck will probably play important roles in determining the winner.
