She will have to be lite on her feet today and fast too. Out of Fantastic Light x KingMambo x Theatrical(IRE) she has been running in graded company over her last 4 races with a win in the G3 Honey Dew Stakes over 7.5 furlongs. A second place in the G1 Breeders Bowl Juvenile Turf Filly and then a fifth in another G1 race both over 8 furlongs. Finally last time out a third place finish in the G3 Broadside Stakes over 8 furlongs. The interesting thing to note is that in all of those races she was fading by the end. So I think the distance is a bit too far for her. She looks like she prefers 7.5 furlongs at the most and maybe even more 7 furlongs. Too far for her here I think.

She was looking very very good and extremely strong early in her 2yo career on all her runs up to 7 and 7.5 furlongs. They included two wins at Stakes level and an impressive speed rating in the Crystal Shmurphy Bonanza Stakes of 90 over 7.5 furlongs. Since then she has run 8.5 and 8 furlongs both G1 races. Her best result was a third place finish in the G1 Breeders Bowl Juvenile Filly. However she looks like the distance is too much for her. Id put her back to 7 furlongs as this race looks like it might be a bit too long for her.

Ha we go from 2 runners who look like they will be struggling to get the distance to this mare who looks like she will want more than the 8 furlongs here! Out of Redoute’s Choice(AUS) x Aldebaran x El Prado(IRE) this will be her debut at Graded level too. Her last race was impressive though – a second place finish in the Waxed Cap Special over 8 furlongs with a speed of 96. That’s fast. She was closing strongly so will need to repeat that again here. Im sure she will as that has been her trademark throughout her short career. Whether the distance is long enough well we will find out.

Out of Green Desert x Broad Brush x Mr. Prospector she looks like she is going to be a 9 to 10 furlong racer I think. Coming off a 7th place finish in the G2 Yanta Snez Stakes over 7 furlongs she needed a lot more distance to finish off the race. Her previous run was in the 3rd Minnesota Miss Juvenile Restricted Stakes over 8.5 furlongs and again she was closing strongly but ran out of room. Probably too short for her here – be good to see her over much longer. Strong runner though.

Wow. This girl looks fast and strong. From Lawman x Nijinsky II x Theatrical(IRE) she is coming off a remarkable race in the G3 Reflection Futurity over 8 furlongs where she flew home on a speed of 99 to take the win. That was in December 08. Her previous run in November was a third place finish in the G2 Mistaken Soda Identity Stakes over 8.5 furlongs where again she was finishing very strongly. A G1 winner too this girl is class no doubt about it. I reckon she can go longer than the distance here too but she proved she can win over this distance. Definite challenger. here.

No pretending with this girl even though she does have only 2 wins to her name. After hitting possibly a bad form patch late last year after well a reasonable effort in teh G1 Frickazee Stakes finishing a fading fourth then a disappointing 10th in the G2 Mistaken Soda Identity Stakes she has started the new year with a bang winning the Mother Story Stakes over 8 furlongs wire to wire with a speed of 93. She had a huge lead mid-race at 7 1/2 furlongs and she was able to hold on by 3 lengths for the win. Will need to run that again and probably a bit more here but looks in good form. Probably her absolute limit on the distance too. Interesting bid though.

This girl out of Unbridled’s Song is probably an average runner on the fast dirt tracks. Certainly not at this level I don’t think. Give her an off track though and she looks sensational. Two runs on an off track for two wins. Most impressive is her performance in January in the Virginia Well Handicap Stakes over 8 furlongs on a good dirt track. A win and a speed rating of 97! I’d keep her on those off tracks as much as possible.

I’ll give you one guess who she is bred from. Aragorn that’s right. Wow you are smart! Straight up the distance is too short for her. Her race in January was over 8.5 furlongs in the G3 Santa Jezebel Stakes and she finished strongly there in third place and a speed of 96. She was looking for more distance there for sure. Maybe out to 9 or 10 furlongs. Based on that run this is going to be too short I think. Still a class runner though – could surprise if she makes her run early.

Another of the hopeful’s has the one run at Graded level and that was a fourth place finish in the G2 Yantaz Snez Stakes over 7 furlongs last run out. Prior to that she had 5 consecutive wins starting from her maiden win which is impressive in itself. Three of those were Stakes wins so good company in those. Graded level may look a bit tough for her but she deserves at least another chance yet. Needs to run beyond her best to date to figure.

She was looking like a good allowance and Stakes racer until probably her last race where she suddenly picked up her speed and ran a good 95 in the Ghoul’s Gold Challenge Stakes over 8 furlongs giving her a win. Best result prior was a third place in the G3 Dr. Shut-Yer-Lips Juvenile on an off track. In fact her runs on an off track which total only two I kno do look good though. A chance here definitely even at 11/1 odds.
11 DIABOLU’S PACISCOR(KY)

Has run only 5 races and 4 of those have been at maide and allowance level. So you would immediately no chance for this girl who is from Rahy x Sadler’s Wells x Mr. Prospector. But she was running good speeds in those races and so her trainer gave her a chance straight into Graded level last time out in the G3 Reflection Futurity over 8 furlongs. She finished a well placed second. Not exactly closing strongly on the winner but finished well all the same. Speed of 97 – thats the main thing to note. Could surprise here actually. Do not take her lightly.
A couple look promising to me here – the winner looks like 5 FINAL PHASE(IRE) based on what she has shown she can do to date. But there are quite a few challengers here who could surprise. Certainly a class field and should be a good race.
