PP #1 Skipaletta-Stravinsky x Explodent x Chieftain, 27-1
This mare is the longest shot in the field. She usually likes to stalk the pace. Last out in a condition allowance on a good 6.5F track, she sat in 4th and faded back to 6th beaten by 7 ½. She has never been very good at stakes. She’s made 5 stakes starts with two 3rds, a 5th, a 7th and a 10th. She also has not been very successful in allowances with only one allowance win in her career. She has only earned 31k in her career. She is very under classed in here. She will be a non-factor.
PP #2 Crossroad-Street Cry x Nureyev x Capote, 10-1
This is another long shot, but not nearly as high. She likes to close from mid pack. Also one who is coming out of a condition allowance. But she won it, only by a nose though, with a flashy 108 speed figure. After sitting in 5th, she moved up gradually to win. She has run in five stakes races, but four were early in her career, and on the turf. Two back in a stakes race she sat a little farther back than usual in 8th, and made a minor move to be 4th beaten five. She has earned a little over 140k in her career. She is in good form and has a chance.
PP #3 Zarallana- El Prado x A.P. Indy x Fusaichi Pegasus, 5-1
She is one of the favorites in the race. She likes to stalk also. Last out at in a 7.5 furlong sprint, she sat in 5th then had no move and flattened out to be beat 8, finishing in 6th. When she was a 3yo she was on the Oaks trail. She has run in around 20 stakes races, and her career earnings are 582k. She has run in seven stakes races this year, with a win and two 3rds, all other stakes she finished 6th. If she feels like it she could be in the top four.
PP #4 Just Because-Cause Ur Mine x Carson City x Alydar, 7-1
She’s in the mid odds range. She likes to stalk the lead. Her last two races have been routes. Last out in a 9F stake, she sat in 5th, then flattened out to get beaten 10 ½ finishing 6th. Two back at a mile, she pretty much was in 4th the whole, she ended up getting beat by 2 ¼. Her only two races that have been under 7.5 furlongs, were her first two races of her career at 6.5. She has earned 141k in her career. She has not been the best in allowances, either. If she takes to the cut back, she has a minor chance.
PP #5 Predilection-Aptitude x Storm Cat x Mr. Prospector, 9-1
She’s another in the middle of the odds. She likes to sit in mid pack, usually. Her last race in a mile condition allowance, she sat in 7th, moved up gradually and only got beat ¼ of a length, finishing 2nd. She raced with a 107 speed figure, in that one. She has raced in three stakes races in her career, with a 3rd, 4th, and 6th. At 7 furlongs she’s raced four times. She’s won a allowance at 7 furlongs, a 2nd and 3rd in allowances at 7 furlongs, and also a 3rd in a graded stakes race. She’s earned 101k in her career. She’s got a good chance if she runs as well as she had at 7 furlongs.
PP #6 Key Lime Pie-Eddington x Seeking The Gold x Storm Cat, 11-1
She is at a juicy price. She is another who likes to stalk the lead. Last out in a condition allowance at 7 furlongs, she sat in 3rd and took over the lead around the turn and kept on going to win by 1 ¼. She earned a 106 speed figure. She has raced in six stakes races in her career. Four of them at 7 furlongs, but her best finish was a 3rd and 4th. The rest have been 6th or worse. She’s had three stakes tries this year, with no success. Her career earnings are just under 145k. If she redeems her last two she has a chance.

She’s another mid ranged price. She’s very versatile she can stalk, sit in mid pack, and close from far behind. Last out in a condition allowance. She was in 4th down the backstretch, then made a move around the turn to take the lead, and opened up in the lane to win by 1 ¼. She received a 103 speed figure. She’s run in so many stakes races you can’t count. Her first three races and last four races were the only races in her career that weren’t stakes. Her career earnings are 686k. If she can repeat her last, she has a chance.
PP #8 Bellissima G-Dixie Union x Storm Cat x Buckpasser, 13-1
She’s a longer shot. She’s very off form. She likes to sit in mid pack usually. Last out in a 7F stake. She started in 4th and kept backing up. She finished 9th beaten 11 ¾. She is also a horse that as always run in stakes. Only seven out of the 24 races in her career have been allowance or maidens. Her early 3yo career was way better than her recent form. Her most recent win was four back at 7F, though. Her career earnings are 334k. She doesn’t have a big chance in this one. There is a slight chance she could get a minor check in this one.
PP #9 Black Mass Reverends-Rahy x Forty Niner x Secretariat, 7-1
She’s another mild price. She likes to sit in mid pack or close from far behind. Last out in a 7F stakes race, she broke out in 5th then moved back, and got beat 7 ¼, finishing 7th. But two back in a condition allowance, she sat in 4th down the backstretch, then moved up around the turn and took the lead in the stretch to win by a head. She received a 107 speed figure. She’s started in six stakes races in her career. It looks like her better distance is 6F. She’s run 2nd, twice 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th in her stakes career. Her career earnings are just under 250k. If she gets a pace to run out, she might have a rally.
PP #10 Royal Birkdale-Speightstown x Golden Missile x Seattle Slew, 9-2
She is the favorite. She likes to close from the back of the pack. Last out in another 7F stake. She sat in 8th down the backstretch, then made a big move to finish 4th beaten 1 ¼. She also received a 106 speed figure. Two back in a G3 7F stakes race, she sat in 13th the whole race, until the turn and let out a big run, to only get beat by 3 ½, finishing 6th. She’s run in seven stakes races in her career. She’s had two wins, two 4ths, a 5th, a 6th, and a 13th. It looks like 7F is her best distance. Her career earnings are just over 175k. If she has a fast pace to run at she could get a good prize.
PP #11 Chasing The Wind-Unbridled’s Song x Kingmambo x Storm Cat, 8-1
She’s another very juicy price. She can come from mid pack or close from far behind. Last out in a 7.5F stake. She was in 8th down the backstretch, then moved up three spots around the turn, and flattened out in the lane finishing 4th beaten 3 ¼. She received a 105 speed figure. She won a condition allowance two back closing from 6th, receiving a 97 speed figure. Her career earnings are 441k. It looks like she loves 7F. If she gets a good pace to run at, she has a great chance. She’s the pick.

She is a mid ranged price. She can stalk or come from mid pack. Her last few have been at a mile. Last out a mile condition allowance. She was in 7th down the backstretch, then moved up a spot around the turn, but fell back in lengths. She finished 5th, beaten 6 ¼. But she was 1st and 2nd in her two races before last, both allowances. She has only raced in one stakes race in her career. She finished 5th at 6.5F. Her career earnings are 91k. If she can come up with a good run in a stake, she has a chance.
