After looking at the Older Horses and some of the top favourites for the 2008 Edition of the Breeders Bowl, today we wanna take a look at the Guineas, Derby and Oaks Heros and Heroins, this feature will introduce you to the Top 3 yos, and their outlook for the Breeders Bowl.
Dirt Sprint:

Status: entered in the Breeders Bowl Sprint
Last Win: August 9th, ( 3yo Equinics Sprint, 6f) Speed: 114
Most recent Speed: 106 (3rd Grade 2 Bluegrass Sprint)
Outlook: One of the Elite Sprinters, his Equinics win made him the best 3yo sprinter, so far struggled twice, when facing older horses, but a 4th in the Tri Citty Sprint looked good, may be out of form a little, but big chances to rebound and finish Top 3.

Outlook: The Bluegrass Derby and New Yorker Winner recovered from his setback in the Giving Back Stakes, and after an Equinics Win looks to take on older horses for the first time, his last race was an easy prep, he won with likely a 90% effort, expect him to be very good against the older competition

Outlook: faces older horses for the first time, looked great in the 3yo Turf Sprint at the Smackdown, winning with a 106, but finished only 5th in the Equinics, an easy ALW prep win, but I think he’ll likely struggle and not finish in the money

Last Win: June 14th an 8f Grade 1 Speed: 108

Outlook: struggled heavy recently, disappointed in the Canada Mile, when facing older horses for the first time, was the star of the spring, when winning the 2000 Guineas and the St. James Tavern. Looks like he is out of Gas for the year, and unlikely to make an in the money finish.

Outlook: looks very sharp, won 7 in a row to start her career, worst finish so far was a 4th place at a Smackdown Race, faced Older Horses in her last win, and seems to enjoy all trips between 7-8f, could be a Breeders Bowl Winner

Outlook: won the first 2 Legs of the Triple Tiara, then had a rough summer, that only saw one good race with a 2nd in the 8f 3yo filly Equinics Race. Last time out shows she might have run out of gas for the year, there have been rumours of a scratch, but she is still entered, with 3 hours to go till the Deadline

Outlook: will not run in the Marathon, but in the Distaff, looks a great choice, but faces first test vs. Older horses, looked great winning the Chestnut Stakes in first Graded try, and striking 2 more Grade 1s since then.
