Daylight Dreamer (IRE) is 2/1 under R. Grider. The Giant’s Causeway (IRE) mare has eleven wins from 28 starts. She really enjoys 11 furlongs and has a knack for taking the lead and not looking back. Should be up on the lead here and will try and wire them.
At 5/2 are Wooden Stud and D. Ritchie. Woodman progeny will be making his 61st start. He has 17 wins, 17 seconds and 9 thirds. A third here will give him the elusive triple dip. Three allowance wins in a row gives him a shot back at this level. Is very sharp and will sit right off the fave’s early pace.
Padam (GB) is 4/1. K. French gets the call. Son of Kris (GB) has a lot of catching up to do to catch the top two in class and earnings. Will most likely press the pace and try and wear the favorite out. Will most likely set up the race for a late running sort.
Fast Flying II (AUS) is 9/2. The Great One, J. Stivers, is aboard. Flying Spur (AUS) horse has been all over Europe, but never to France. Won at this distance two back at his only career try going 11F. Has won longer and shorter and figures to be able to handle the speed. Stivers is the wild card.
At 6/1 is Utility View. R. Truitt gets the call. South African sire Al Mufti horse has eleven wins in 41 tries. Has won at this distance on multiple occasions. Current form isn’t the greatest, but his experience at this distance should move him up a bit.
Crass Rainbow is 7/1. J. Shaver is in the irons. Son of Rainbow Quest may be the sole benefactor of the expected fast pace. Although he is the longest shot on the board, his running style cannot be ignored. Adores an off track and will be in the mix late.
