Chief Crown Challenge

Rattlin Rebel proved to be the best in the Chief Crown Challenge this weekend in Georgia. Rattlin lead most of the race, only briefly allowing GW Has No Kahones a moment to stick his nose in front to smell the scent of leading. Rattlin quickly resumed the lead and held it to the wire. Rattlin, who was my 3rd choice, paid backers a nice $12.60 for the win.

Indiscretion, my top choice and 9-5 betting favorite, took second honors, passing GW Has No Kahones late in the race. GW Has No Kahnoes (my second selection) just held on to the third spot by a nose holding off a hard charging Darling Harbour.

Lit De Sky hung out with the leaders early before fading back and settling for the 5th place check.

Driveoftheday was disappointing. I expected an improved effort off of his last stakes effort and he raced a flat 6th through out the race.

Father African has continued his slump which started this past fall. He’s been a challenge for Trainer Rocket24 to figure out. Hopefully the springtime will bring better things for his horse.
