Two Mile Test For Four Fillies

This week a two mile dirt marathon will test four fillies, two of which are stepping up from allowance company, while two are coming out of unsuccessful stakes tries.  First up is #1 MAYHEMIC MADNESS(FR) at 5/1, the 4yr out of Ballingarry is the longshot of the field, the two time winner has won two of her last three, a 14f MSW with a SP83 and a 12f allowance with a SP89 last time out.  This strong closer will look to pick off the leaders down the field.   Next up is the co-favorite #2 SIMPLE LIE(NZ) at 6/5, the 5yr out of Octagonal is 5 for 21 with 3 wins coming on the dirt.  Winner of back to back 13f races back in July/Aug has since stepped up to stakes, she closed well two tries back at 14f to lose by 1/4 with a SP100, last time out she lead early before fading badly to place 4th SP98.  Flexable racer can lead, or rate, and her last SP’s are among the best making her the one to beat.  #3 PHILANTHROPY(JPN)  4/1 has 16 dirt races, with 4 wins and 10 places, this is one horse that like to be the runner up.  She’s been no worst then 2nd in her last 8, 4 starter allowances, then 4 open allowances, last time out was a 13f 2nd with a career best SP94; before that she ran twice at this distance with SP’s of 90/85.  Minor improvement and a win isn’t unquestionable.  Last up is the other co-favorite #4 MOVIE IN TUX RYRY(IRE)  6/5 by Theatrical, is a upset Grade II winner at 14f last March at 33/1 in the Long Winded Ladies Stakes, since which she has struggled in other graded events before dropping into an allowance in November and placing 2nd SP89, then placing 5th in a 15 horse Owner Restricted Stakes SP98, last time out she ran 2nd of 4 in a Stakes at the distance SP85, does her best for the back and will be hoping for alittle pace to ran at.
