Scurry Wins in a Hurry

In a race that featured Globalized who was seeking his 6th consecutive victory, it was Got You Scurry On that entered the winner’s circle, capturing her 3rd consecutive win. Got Your Scurry On left the starting gate sharply, pulling away from the field by 5 lengths by the half way mark. Scurry was my second choice for the race, beating out my first selection, Exotic Film.

Exotic Film came on hard with a strong stretch run with jockey T. Monk aboard. Despite her late rally, she came up short missing by a mere length.

Globalized turned out to be third best. Globalized ran third most of the race, taking over the second spot briefly around the half. Aquilue got the forth spot and never showed much effort during the race.

Blackened Crawfish (my third choice) challenged early on, however, faded back at the half-way mark. Turned out the 2 week layoff was not long enough rest period for Blackened. Aces or Kaifs watched the race from the rear of the field and also finished there. Aces was much overmatched in this stakes.
