Improvement in his 2nd route could be expected here.

He prefers to be just off the early pace but the question that needs to be answered is how he will fair with this start being his first longer than 6.5 furlongs.

GENERAL CROOK and THE ROAD TO VAES will be sitting midpack with GENERAL CROOK getting the first crack at running down the pace and getting the lead with about a furlong to run.

ZERO POINT ZERO, NYQSTAY APE, PIRATE TYPHOON and THE ROAD TO VEGAS will be towards the back with THE ROAD TO VEGAS having the best kick late.

At the finish line I think that GENERAL CROOK will narrowly hang on to the lead with OG SPEIGHTS TAPIT holding off a hard charging THE ROAD TO VEGAS for 2nd.
