R Hall

5/1

4yo filly out of a he/she sired by E. Dubai.  Ran for a tag back in ’06 and now has developed into a decent prospect.  She has won her last two events and is in fine form.  This will be her 1st attempt at a stakes on dirt.  She’s a closer and the race sets up fairly well for her late charge.  Jock Hall isn’t the greatest, but all he has to do is sit tight and urge her on the turn for home.

SEEKING DEATH

B Ironside

5/2

4yo scratch bred has won half of her starts to date.  She likes hanging back some and waits for speed to use itself up.  Blistering SP’s in her last two victories and a nice jock in Ironside, give her top status.  She should be able to handle the nine panels, but appears to like the longer sprints to a mile.  This will be her 1st trip to a stakes event, so she has something to prove.

BUSH WINS AGAIN

H Ross

2/1

Class of the field is this 5yo mare with $1.3 mil in the bank.  Out of an “E” rated mare that has some nice progeny, she boasts 11 wins in 33 starts.  She’s ranked 8th in her class on dirt.  Has the top jock in the irons and speed to take charge.  The field can’t let her have her own, or the Fat Lady will be singing at the half.  One to beat.

REINDANCER T

apacolypse

I Hartz

9/2

4yo scratch bred that has a stakes place way back in ’06.  Hot commodity as a miler; she may not get the extra here.  Has speed and probably will contest for lead.  If left alone, she may be coerced to stretch it out.  Don’t think that’s likely with Hartz in the saddle.  May hang for a piece.

BARB’S SLOW COOKER(KY)

D Silver

9/2

3yo filly with a lot of potential as she matures.  She’s out of a “D” rated mare that has some decent progeny.  She’s a deep closer at shorter, but may be nearer the pace in this event.  SP’s make her a valid contender here.  Should show some late gain.

Z Wylde

7/1

4yo former claimer/starter that is gaining confidence.  Likes the distance albeit at cheaper company.  Can’t count her out for a piece of the action.  Jock Wylde has been passing his drug tests lately and is in good form.
