Sunstorm

Come back in distance and picked up the speed with some healthy figures in the 100s. Has great history over 8F, now runpastem9 is looking to train filly for some sprinting feature races.

La Swift

She will be up there at the finish provided the jockey doesn’t burn her up to early. If she can find the lead early and put a good lead on the rest, she will be almost impossible to run down. Big chance, and should be in the top 3.

Wood Attack

Going on her previous 5 runs, will fail to tackle the likes of Staked Claim, but she has to potential to run in the money. She can fly as that 119 last year shows, yet to recapture that form, and if she doesn’t, I don’t think she’ll be in the finish.

Staked Claim

A G1,2 and 3 winner in her past 5 runs, this is the one to beat. Forget the last run, take her on the previous runs. She should be in the high 100s and should streak away from these in the final furlong. I think oddly is already preparing his winning speech.

Spinaway

Another one with impressive stats in the low 100s. This is panning out to be a blanket finish. A short price runner last start when failed, got to far back and couldn’t make the ground up. She’ll need to settle midfield if she wants to be in the finish. Look for a cheeky run as she might get a change of tactics to try and bring home the cash.

Ireland’s Legacy

Two words, No Hope! This one will be finish close to the tail. Pisano2 insists she can run a good race, but I think he is the only one. No one else shares the optimism.

Ms. Granzig

This 4 yo filly has yet to crack the 100 speed figure mark, which I believe is needed to win this one. She might be outclassed here, but this may be the time for her to show what she is made of. Failed last start in a G3, but izmir has kept faith with her this week and believes that she is great value at 18/1.

Birds of Paradise

Looking to make it five on the trot and having won 7 out of her past 8, dixiedotco is looking to add a graded trophey to the cabinet. Has the speeds to trouble the rest of the field and if she can produce runs like her previous couple of starts, can win.

Udontwantone

Impressive sprinting speeds with fast flying finishes. If she doesn’t get too far back and gets a clean run, she will be storming home down the middle of the track. The drop back in distance should suit and at healthy odds, will be in the top 3.

Petruszka

The old timer of the race, but she mustn’t know how old she is. The older she gets the better harder she goes. Ran her best speed over the distance as 4 yr old, a bit older now, but has still managed speeds in the low 100s. She should be battling away at the finish and could pinch this one.
