Todays feature is the Nijinsky Needle, over 13 furlongs on the dirt course which thanks to some heavy rain is running sloppy.

BLOODWYCHEis the favourite today having won four of eleven and looked much better stepped up to todays distance latest, which she won by over 3 lengths. She looks ready for this level and will take a good deal of beating if she handles the slop. TOMORROW WENDY(IRE) can handle the wet as shown by her latest second over 10f but the distance is a step into the unknown. If she handles it she will be a threat but her running hasn’t suggested she been crying out for the step up. SPELUNKING has been running at this level with two recent wins over 10 and 11 furlongs. The speed figures havn’t been great though but she looks as rthough she’ll handle the extra distance. An outside chance. MINING NUMBERS is another who has been running weell at around 9f at this level but who disapointed ina run over 11f. She doesn’t look to handle another 2f and will struggle. FAN BLADE has been running in claimers and staters and looks out of her depth.
