#1
smart stand out sremel22 barn l bono 15/1
This seven year old daughter of SMART BID has finished in the money in sixteen of her twenty-nine career starts including ten wins. She has slumped of late though and has not finished better than fifth at any of her last three and had her speed drop to 79 last time out. Ownership is hopeful that she still can produce and hopes today will be the start of better things.
#2
forest sauvage brascobarg barn r case 5/2
This five year old daughter of TIZNOW has finished in the money in twelve of eighteen career starts. Her last start was in late January when she had a third place finish at the “Pro In An Citing Dirt Mare Sprint” where she ran impressive 109 speed over seven furlongs. She takes a step back here in distance as most of her success has come at a mile or more. It will be interesting to see how she responds here today.
#3
sulch tng2 barn v webb 9/1
This four year old daughter of SOUTHERN SUCCESS has finished in the money in nine of thirteen career starts with four wins. She comes in off a sixth place finish less than three weeks ago at the “Sahms Halo Dirt Mare Sprint” where she ran 104 speed over seven and a half furlongs. This will be her third start in just over six weeks. It will be interesting to see how she fares and whether or not it might be time for a long rest.
#4
cause i need cash zilchkash barn v elliott 5/1
This four year old daughter of GIANT’S CAUSEWAY has nine wins in seventeen career starts and had a streak of six in a row end last time out when she finished third at the “Worth Dirt Mare Sprint” that covered five furlongs. She will fare better here today at this distance and will be one to reckon with coming down the home stretch.
#5
zen pulpit mnmbred barn i rhodes 5/1
This four year old daughter of ZENSATIONAL has amassed more than half a million in career earnings and has three Grade 3 wins and a Stakes win on her resume. Her Stakes win came last time out at the “Grand Tour Dirt Mare Special where she ran 108 speed over six furlongs. She should go off as one of the favorites here against this field of nine. I really like this horse and think she will definitely find a spot on the board.
#6
smart pierro deepesr7 barn g owans 32/1
This four year old daughter of PIERRO has five wins in eighteen career starts with her last coming at an allowance race in April. Since then she has failed to hit the board in two starts. She has experimented with Poly in the past and had some success there with a win and a runner up in four starts. She will need her best to compete here today out of the six hole.
#7
curtail riotman barn s blade 7/1
This six year old daughter of REDOUTE’S CHOICE has finished in the money in nineteen of her thirty-one career starts including nine wins. She has raced just six times on dirt but has had some success with two runner ups and two thirds in those races. She has shown good speed in her races and might be a nice long shot pick to hit the board.
#8
wonderfully hot uncleduppy barn mj kelly 9/2
This five year old daughter of TIZ WONDERFUL has finished in the money in fifteen of her twenty-eight career starts and has won five previous Stakes races. A start at Grade 1 “The Princess Looney” last time out did not go well and resulted in a ninth place finish. She will be more at home here today and should like this distance and will be in the mix.
#9
kirbysgiantdream tng2 barn i thomas 5/1
This five year old daughter of GIANT’S CAUSEWAY has finished in the money in seventeen of twenty races including nine wins. She comes in off back to back wins at allowance races that both covered four and a half furlongs. She also has a Grade 3 win on her resume having taken home “The Jersey Oaks” almost a year to this date. She should be in the mix here today out of the nine hole.
