Here we are on the mainland in France to see some Juvenile fillies taking on the chance to win a Stakes which might become a ticket to the BB later on this year.

PP         Age            Horse                            Owner               Odds             Pedigree
1          2F            ENVALIRA                    bossross                       9/2            Hurricane Run x Mining x Lemon Drop Kid

Record: 4 races: 1-2-1

Sired by Hurricane Run and running for the Rafastables. She is out of a D-grade mare who already got a Stakeswinner and Stakesplaced runner amongst her foals. Envalira also looks to be a promising filly never finishing of the board in her four starts. Her speed has been improving lately and she looks to be able to post a +70 in this Stakesrace. She can battle for victory her but will have to beat the filly in gate 2.

2          2F            CK MOSH PIT                      ckstable                        4/5            El Prado x Pulpit x Fappiano

Record: 5 races: 4-0-0

4/5 and clearly the bookiesfavourite is this El Prado filly from team CK. She is already racing for the 6th time in her young carreer and has won 4 races out of five. Won 3 Stakesraces of which a G2 and has been posting good +70 speeds constantly. Did not manage to win last time out in a G3 and this might be because 7f is too far for her at this moment. She clearly is a frontrunner and if she can kill the competition in the first furlongs with her speed, she might be unbeatable today. Is ranked third in all divisions and I believe there is a good chance we will see her back in the Sim World Cup later next month.

3          2F            DAY OF TRIUMPH                       scootboy          3/1       Elvstroem x Manila x Sadler’s Wells

Record: 2 races: 1-0-1

From the southern hemisphere comes this filly, scratchbred out of Elvstroem. She has not been posting fabulous speeds yet and even had a very easy race last time when she broke her maiden. I believe she will be better with distance and this little stretch might help her improving her speed. Elvstroem already sired two stakeswinners this season which as much as last year’s crop. I believe it is still to early for this filly now and she just has to improve her speed in this race to make a chance.

4          2F            ANTE POST                pisano3             4/1            Green Desert x Cadeaux Genereux x Rainbow

Record: 4 races: 1-1-0

Sired by Green Desert and racing for the modest (in win%) Pisanostables , Ante Post is making her fifth start of the season. She is out of a G-grade mare whose offspring has not yet proven a lot. Has constantly been racing on turf with not too high speeds in her first three races. Finally broke her maiden last time in a good 78SP on a wet track. Question is whether this filly has been improving in speed because she grew a bit older or has she improved last time just because she liked the offtrack so much. Who will tell? Fact is it is a firm track today and she will have to prove she can run the same speed on a firm track too.

5          2F            MILLVIEW PASSION            millview11         8/1       Avonbridge x Tilt Up x Tumble Lark

Record: 0 races

Making her debut in this race is this bargainbred filly out of the obscure Avonbridge. She is the second filly in this race racing for the Spanish Rafastables and was probably entered because this was a small field and a chance to pick up Stakespoints as you never no with these debutees. Avonbridge is a second year sire which is still completely unproven at this moment: no wins yet for his offspring so I would not bet too much on the chances of this filly, though I wish her all the best.
