#1
kymara opalton                 kymar15 barn                     m scott                     9/2

This four year old son of Victoire Pisa has finished in the money in nine of his fourteen career starts. He is a Local Champion having taken the Japan “Local Championship Stakes” back in June of last year and had four other victories in 2017. He should be in the mix today as he has performed well at this distance and against similar competition in the past.

#2
wildfire pegasus               bigears barn                        t small                       6/1

This five year old son of Fiorente has back to back fifth place finishes in his first two starts of the year. He has ten wins in his career with five coming on Turf and Dirt including an impressive win last June at the Grade 3 “The Dying Breath”. A win here today will take him over $500,000 in career earnings. He should compete and could be a long shot to finish in the money.

#3
marechal lannes                waremblem6 barn            j ledwith                   9/1

Our youngest competitor comes in following a ninth place finish in South Korea in a race included n the 2018 Equinics. Prior to that race he had a win at the Grade 3 “The Dutch St. Leger”, a win at the “Jet Boy Slayer”, and a runner up at the Grade 1 “Vicky Derby”. Finishing in the money here today will put him over one million in career earnings and I am confident he will hit the board.

#4
rapstarla                             deyoyoto barn                    gd mate                    4/1

This five year old son of Sea the Stars is closing in on one million dollars in earnings. Three runner up finishes at Grade 1 Stakes contributed mostly to the total with the most recent coming at “The Europe Classic” last September. HIs most recent start was a disappointing seventh place finish over 16 furlongs. He will fare better her today at this distance and should be in the mix.

#5
kymar seayou                    fishstix2 barn                     e bernstein             5/1

Comes in following a sixth place finish in South Korea in a race included n the 2018 Equinics. His first race of the year was a win at the “Redsadky Turf Endurance” where he posted good speed to win by a length. Finished second in this race a year ago and should be one to be reckoned with out of the five hole.

#6
how they shine                 temp1 barn                         d evans                     4/1

The only lady in the field, this impressive daughter of Sea the Stars comes in with ten wins in sixteen career starts and almost three million dollars in career earnings. Finished 2017 with a win at the Grade 1 “The Winter Cup”, one of eight wins on the year. She can definitely compete with the boys and should go off as one of the favorites here against this field of eight.

#7
rock for me                         blacksky2 barn                   b van houten          10/1

This seven year old son of Pour Moi, our oldest entry in the race, has just twelve starts in his career and only raced twice in 2017. In his only start this year he showed good speed in a third place finish over twelve furlongs. Has show some speed in the past but might not have enough to compete here. No bold predictions here on this mystery.

#8
super dane                         kimsons barn                      j whaley                    4/1

This six year old son of Nathaniel comes in following a third place finish at the Grade 2 “Kyoto Stakes” in Japan where he was narrowly beaten. This will be the longest race of his career but based on past performances the extra distance should benefit him. He should be competitive here today and could challenge for a spot on the board.
