The Bargain Bowl Series continues as two year old fillies take to the greensward for the Misallocation Juvenile. Run at a flat mile, (or once around the mile turf oval), a field of eight freshman lasses will compete for the winner”s share of the $150,000 purse and for the lasting recognition of winning a Bargain Bowl event. The turf course should be firm for race day as the lovely spring weather will continue through the weekend. Multirich, Dead O’ Live and Fortlador renew their rivalry here, with Multirich owning the morning line favorite’s role. All of these ladies are scratch bred babies, so let’s take a closer look at their past performances and see how they compare.

Lovely bay filly won The Vandergriff Park BBRS listed stakes at this route in latest, sizzling an 83 SP# in a stalking trip, with Dead O’Live and Fortlador right behind her. 30pointers trainee was a closing 2nd one back of that in a BBRS allowance at 7 furlongs, snaring a 76 SP# in an off the pace run. Her previous outing was also a closing 2nd in a BBRS allowance at 6 panels, snatching a 70 SP#. Consistent filly can sit a trip and pounce when ready, should be right there at the wire.

Owner/trainer safbb1 sends out this bay filly off a good 2nd to Multirich last out in The Vandergriff Park, bounding to an 81 SP# in a stretch running effort. She was a gaining 2nd one before that in a BBRS allowance at 7 panels, bagging a 74 SP#. Her prior outing was a last to first victory in a BBRS maiden event at 7 furlongs, busting a 63 SP#. Has come to hand since switching to the turf, look for her late in the lane – may get there on top try.

Another safbb1 runner trying to topple Multirich is this bay lass who was 3rd behind Multirich and stablemate Dead O’ Live in The Vandergriff Park last time over, nailing a 79 SP# moving from last of five. She broke her maiden one before that in a BBRS maiden event at this distance, nabbing a 74 SP# in a last to first run. She was 4th in her debut in one prior, notching a 64 SP# from far back of the early leaders. Stretch runner should be picking up the pieces down the lane, but can she catch Multirich – that is the question.

Bay filly broke her maiden last out on the dirt in a BBRS event, garnering a 70 SP# from well back in the pack. She was a good 2nd one back of that in a BBRS maiden, grabbing a 72 SP# from mid-pack. One before that she ran out of ground when a gaining 2nd in a BBRS maiden race, getting a 69 SP#. Runner from the platypuscz barn tries the weeds for the first time; consistent filly could surprise on best effort.

Improved nicely last out to break her maiden when returned to the turf, going from last to first in a BBRS maiden at this distance, copping a 64 SP#. Bay filly was a never in it 7th in her only try on the dirt in one prior, an open maiden at 6 panels, casting a 53 SP#. One back of that she showed a little late interest when 7th at 7 furlongs in a residency maiden, getting a 59 SP#. Dsg trainee faces much better in this heat, seems in tough.

Consistent colleen was a closing 2nd last out in a $25,000 claimer at 5.5 furlongs, popping a 71 SP# moving from last of five. Brown bubbala broke her maiden in prior start, a $10,000 claimer at 5.5 furlongs, pegging a 66 SP# from back in the pack. She closed well for 3rd in a $2,500 maiden claimer at this route one before that, pasting a 65 SP# from well back in the pack. Runner from the mtkbargainhunt stable seems to be on the improve, but faces tougher here in her stakes debut.

She broke her maiden one back of that in a $7,500 claimer st 7 furlongs, bagging a 61 SP# in a stalking trip. Makes her stakes debut for owner/trainer lgbost9b, may be involved in the early pace but will need to step up her game to contend here.
