Sim greats meet at the wire

By ITCH

That was an exciting race, even for two of the greatest ever in the Sim.

Correction and cream met at the wire here Saturday in the Grade II Utah BB Mile, as unlikely as that seemed earlier in the race. Even earlier in the stretch.

The classy URKO’S DANZIG, the eventual show horse, looked to be in control in mid-stretch, ahead by more than a length and hardly stopping. Cream’s CANNON IN D, was coming at him, and maybe would get to him, but here came Correction’s GOLD INFERNO ($15.70), closing like a freight train on the outside.

He got there just in time in a blanket finish that may have had even Sim greats like Correction and Cream rooting at the wire.
