The TOLERANT PEAK Cap
DUCK AND HENS – This colt’s confidence has definitely been shaken as stated in the preview. He probably should be rested and placed in appropriate condition race.
GRAND PROSPECTS = Back to his favorite distance, and in with a lesser group, this colt comes up with the win. Stalking all the way, jock put the whip to him in the last sixteenth and held off the #3 colt for a well earned victory. Congrats to the connections.
EARLY PEAK(IRE) – Colt shows again that he really likes the track. No bounce here. He closed on the winner, but ran out of track. VOLTURNO – Squeezed at the gate, colt never recovered, and ran an even race. Colt must learn to rate.5
DEPUTY ED – Colt couldn’t keep up and was best of the rest. Not unusual for young horses still getting a feel for racing.
LOVE MY GRANDMA – Had the race in the bag. Wasn’t pressed and controlled the pace. However, as predicted, jockey blew it. Suggest the trainer be very aware of the picking of jockeys. Especially in stakes events.
BBORING REASON(IRE) – By the time this colt started running the race was over. Needs more distance. Probably should run conditioned allowances at a mile to gain points and then stakes.
EVER SO RIGHTLY – Went with the leaders for a half mile, then quit. Needs more training on how to rate. Perhaps colt will learn more in conditioned allowances.
