This will be the 1st running of the No Option Stakes for 3YO Fillies and Mares. This is a short field of four horses with only three being owned and trained by humans. This sprint though should be a good one to watch, but betting will be only if the two co-favorites aren’t expected to win.

Good Cause (
Captivating (Vindication X Mr. Prospector) has hit board in four of its six race winning two. Its speed numbers make this a tough horse to beat, but I’m wondering if it needs more distance. It finished 4th and 5th in its two attempts at Grade III, coming from way back. We will see today if O/T Peeps has found the right spot for this horse.
Falling Sky (A.P. Indy X Kingmambo) has hit the board in seven of its ten races winning five. This beautifully bred 3YO has exploded since O/T Lenny271 switched it to turf five races back. It has won three of the five races, two being stakes, and just missed winning the Grade III Latonia Special one month ago. Its speed numbers average out to a 95 and make this a tough horse to beat either, the decision will be to race up front or sit back and wait.
Sharp End, the computer horse, will try turf for only the second time. It should be up front, but will be quickly passed in the stretch.
At the Wire: For betting purposes, no pick. Falling Sky should win its sixth race, in eleven starts, somewhat easily. This 3YO probably belongs in Grade III races after today, but don’t forget the fast charging Captivating at the finish. Running second should be Captivating with Good Cause finishing third.
Prediction: 4 – 2 – 1
