Thrilling Two Horse Race in Illinois!

A thrilling two horse race brought the crowd to it’s feet in Illinois today for the ZIG MY MILL Stakes race. In the end BRABASONG came out the winner when she outlasted her rival SAPPHO at the final strides of the race.

This makes three in a row in her first three races for this young filly and you can bet that trainer Brabant is thinking big things for this UNBRIDLED’S SONG out of BRABATA offspring . She has won each race by an identical 1 ½ lengths and has easily pulled away right at the end. She is currently the number one ranked two year old turf sprint filly.

SAPPHO was the early leader in this race, but it seemed at times that she and the winner were really shadows of one another they were so close together. ALLURING SOUL finished third but was mostly an afterthought in the race as the two leaders went back and forth with each other. In the end, SAPPHO showed herself well but just didn’t have one more push at the end.

Now Trainer Brabant will now have to give his prized pony a rest and map out her course to future greatness.
