The SEVENTH HEAVEN Challenge

Seven Furlongs                Firm Turf                    $55,000

A group of five juveniles will step onto the Carolina Downs track on Saturday to compete in the ‘The SEVENTH HEAVEN Challenge”.

This turf event is named after the former Sim performer – SEVENTH HEAVEN.  This mare won over $350,000 in winnings; while finishing in the money eleven times in stakes events.

As for the field of starters for SEVENTH HEAVEN Special” :

pp1.     JUST DOING MY JOB     owner-goldcity     jockey-D Esperado     odds-9/5

This Dyanformer  x Kris S.  two year old filly, was impressive in her  gate to wire winning debut.  The step up in class will be her next obstacle.

pp2.     DIESEL TEDDY T(GB)           owner-shanx    jockey-T Bang      odds-5/2

A Diesis(GB)  x Mr. Prospector  offspring, DIEISEL TEDDY T(GB)  has four races under belt.  Even though, she is winless on the turf, she has shown the ability to handle the surface and may be ready for a winning grass trip.

pp3.     KITTEN EXPRESS     owner-countdiana     jockey-T Jenkins      odds-9/2

With such a nice breeding combination (Johar x Fantastic Light x Storm Cat), I am sure that this ownership has some big dreams for this one time winner in four trips. She will be stepping up slightly in distance and competition in this event.

pp4.     HONKY TONK WOMAN     owner-desperado3     jockey-N Stalker    odds-3/1

This Awesome Again x A.P. Indy filly broke into the winning column in her last outing.  She won drawing away, so the added furlong should prove to be a warranted stepping stone.

pp5.     COZY ZIG     owner-singleall     jockey-K Naber       odds-7/2

A Cozzene x Affirmed offspring, will be returning to a more favorable turf setting, after a disappointing outing on dirt.  Leading jockey-Naber will be on board, so she has two things in her favor.

This is a nice developing field of five two year old fillies.  There is a good chance that out of this small group that one or more future sim stars will emerge. This Saturday will be a good time to see which of these youngsters takes a step forward toward that stardom, and what owner will have a reason to feel like they are in heaven- deajai
