Distorted Physics makes the leap

By ITCH

DISTORTED PHYSICS ($15.60) went right to the front and held on strong to the wire to take down the $35,000 CORPARATE CARSON CHALLENGE, a 6.5-furlong sprint for 3yo colts.

The victory confirmed a marvelous training job by Gnba, who knew his 3yo son of Distorted Humor colt was ready for a return to stakes action after running very fast last out in a conditioned allowance.

Distorted Physics beat both SUPER TORNADO and SIRI’S ROCKET out of the gate. While he established a lead he would hold, the penthouse dueled with the outhouse behind him.

Shockingly, it was the penthouse who gave first, and then it was time for Ts1442’s DELIGENCE to come and renew his rivalry with Siri’s Rocket. Those two had run together in an Ohio stake, with Deligence finishing narrowly ahead. He got to the line in front of the Rocket again this time, taking down the place money and three contest points.

Humble West Virginia reporter Itch scored his first-ever points in the WV Stakes Competition with the show money.
