Favourite Prevails In Ireland

The favourite prevailed in Ireland this week, as Vegas Beauty dropped to the back of the pack and pounced on the leaders in deep stretch. The daughter of Sky Mesa turned in a career best 94 speed figure while capturing her fourth career stakes. Ojai High, the #2 ranked turf sprint filly, was within a length of the lead throughout, and held on for the place, running a 93. Glitter Net, making her first stakes appearance and facing a tough field, rose to the occasion, putting forth an impressive stretch run to finish third just over a length back, running a 92.
