Macho Niner showed his class easily dispatching this very solid field. Macho Niner stalked the early pace of Sisson Hill in second about a length and a half off the early pace. As these two started around the turn for home Macho Niner moved up next to Sission Hill and was just in front as they hit the top of the stretch. From there Macho Niner continued to separate himself never being threatened in the stretch winning by nearly four lengths.

Sisson Hill set the pace and held on through the stretch to get second. The fast deep closing Act of God screamed from fifteen lengths off the early pace to finish third just five a three quarter lengths back.

The lightly raced and talented Tommy was chasing in second. Tommy picked up the pace through the turn for home and closed ground on Othfly’s Mambo.

Meanwhile near the back of the field King Snake was starting to kick into gear after strolling along the first half of the race. As they entered the stretch Othfly’s Mambo was still ahead a little more than three lengths but Tommy was cutting into that lead quickly King Snake was full of run and also picking up ground quickly through the stretch. Tommy finally got to Othfly’s Mambo in the final few jumps to the wire with King Snake right on their hills for a three horse photo, Tommy won by a half length with Othfly’s Mambo holding second and King Snake a hard luck third.
