The Doctor Radike Stakes

Running over a track listed as ‘good’, madhibby4 stables Higharoon(IRE) wired a field of eight to take The Doctor!! Radike Stakes.

Breaking alertly from the gate the 4yr old chestnut mare raced to the lead and outbested the rest in her wire to wire run. “She had been running at the distance in her recent races and the off track didn’t bother her at all”, beamed a jubliant A. Darling. “She likes to run up front..that’s for sure”, he continued.

Second place finisher, Princeton Bound from the princeton stables, closed like a runaway train, making up 10 1/4 lengths down the lane. “It was her 1st run over a wet turf surface and she handled the going just fine”, her satisfied trainer exclaimed.

Princes September, who ran in second place throughout, faded at the 1/16 pole and held on for show position.

Time of the race was 2:32 1/5 seconds.
