Frio Frio Mile

Welcome ladies and gentlemen once again to the Spanish track here for the Frio Frio Mile Grade III.  Estoy muy feliz y me encanta a los caballos aqui en Espana.  Good luck to all….

Post 1:             5/1 CELERITY (techranger)

3yo colt by Sadlers Wells, is coming off an impressive streak of wins and fantastic form all at recent Stakes level.  Trained by the famous trainer in techranger this one has to be considered for a place finish if not the win.

Post 2:             7/1 REMEMBER PANDORA (bellissimo)

With 3 wins all at the maiden and allowance level, last time out was jumped up to Grade III level and perfomed against all expectations with a third place finish in a field of 9. Is back again at this level and could surprise again.

Post 3:             11/1 MAXWELL (viperthree)

Only the 2 wins and not at Stakes level, this one seems to have been pushed too quickly up into this level.  Going on its form and recent runs looks like he will struggle here. Maybe too early for this level just yet…

Post 4:             9/1 I’M A LUMBERJACK  (bookworm)

Has been running consistent and well in allowance racing. Two races back was thrown into the big boys at a Grade III level with disastrous results.  Trainer not happy and has decided the horse has to prove himself once and for all. Not today though I don’t think…

Post 5:             7/1 NO HELP WANTED  (fabfarms)

A string of wins and at Stakes level as well makes the jump again here to Grade III.  Little bit of a story here, this horse and trainer have been doing the whole routine all by themselves. No stablehands, no jockeys, nothing just the horse and the trainer.  No Help Wanted is not only just a name, it’s a motto for life for these two.  Big chance here for a win.

Post 6:             7/2 TESTING(IRE) (pg51)

Punters favourite, this one looks a class ahead of all the rest here except for Hail Cesario. Last time out ran a great race to finish first across the line in the Roasting Weanies Stakes -G3.  Looks hard pushed to go past this one and the bookies think so too.  Win or place easily…

Post 7:             4/1 HAIL CESARIO  (catahoula)

Last two races out were both at G1 level. One was a complete failure and the other was an outstanding win. Dropping down in class here one would expect a good solid win from this one. I think so too. Win all the way here…

Post 8:             19/1 JAVA CODE  (gg)

Named after the famous web programming language, Java Code looks up against it here. Not really ready for G3 level and could probably do with a few more runs in allowance company.  Upset of the day if he wins.

Post 9:             9/1 PROUD AND BOLD  (avalanche)

Four times out with 2 wins under his belt, means Proud and Bold gets a chance at this level.  Outsider really to take out the win but could surprise if he gets a good run with a place finish.  Watch on the turn.

Post 10:           8/1 CRIMSON WARRIOR  (dowelly)

Was performing superbly as a 2yo with a win at G1 level included in his racing career. Class act trained by the legendary trainer in dowelly, has to be considered for a place finish here. Just needs a good run and some of that form back.  Will be in my bets at the track.
