Very short price considering it has been a long time since he has done anthing at stakes level he is comming off a second in a 8.5f allowence (his first run on turf for a while) interesting to note the last time he ran a long turf race he won over 12f with a speed rating of 97 but place bet for me.
PP2 ROIDAZOID(IRE) Owner aaihr THEATRICAL(IRE) x AFFIRMED x NORTHFIELDS 5/2
Equal favorite who ran a nice second in the The VICTORY COON(IRE) Special-Stk with a speed rating of 98. he has been very consitant over the past few seasons and deserves his 5/2 tag, look for him to set the pace one of the horses to beat.
PP3 BUSH PADRE Owner pamela RHYTHM x SIR TRISTRAM(IRE) x BUCKSPLASHER 69/1
Should be 69,000/1 (no offence pamela) the only way a horse like this could win is if there was a freak accident and every other horse fell over. Or like that year in the sixtys when some 100/1 won the english grand national when all the front runners refused to take a jump and and only 1 horse who was at the back of the pack got over the fence and opened up a huge gap of 2 jumps only to hold on to win by a couple of lenghts. This horse will get distanced.
PP4 RIVER SCENTS(IRE) Owner hrsescents BLACK TIE AFFAIR(IRE) x NUREYEV x IRISH RIVER(FR) 16/1
Won his 3rd race in very good fashion last start with an 89 speed rating over 11f, it looks like the extra 2f will suit but i don’t feel he has quite enough experience yet to win at this level but you’ve got to be in it to win it. Place chance.
PP5 WINDYS BEST KNIGHT Owner spcstable RAINBOW QUEST x COMMON GROUNDS(GB) x ALYDAR

This 4yo colt has been running very well lately with a win a 2nd and a 3rd in his last 3 starts all over 12f not to mention the 101 speed rating 2 starts back. The main problem I feel will be the extra furlong as he tends to feel the pinch at the end of his races but he does have the help
of N Hartel in the saddle who is in fantastic form. Chance.
PP6 MISWAKI APPROVAL Owner manni169 MISWAKI x WITH APPROVAL x SHERGAR(GB) 5/2
Coming from his worst race in some time, this horse has won 8 stakes races or better and also deserves to be at 5/2 but if he performs like last start he won’t win. He has D Evans ridding him and he has been on fire this season and he will sit back in the field so he needs the hectic pace from ROIDAZOID(IRE) so he can sweep down the outside for victory. Give him another chance. (Note to manni169 give him more races on dirt!)
PP7 OL TWINKLE TOES(IRE) Owner hornfrog3 THEATRICAL(IRE) x PLEASANT TAP x MARQUETRY 8/1
Very consistant has been in the money a fair bit but he is just a tad short in class. I just think allowance company or even a $100k claimer would be better for him but if he get’s the best run possible he may run a place but not quite good enough.
PP8 FORMER DEVIL Owner troync2 DYNAFORMER x DEVIL HIS DUE x NORCLIFFE 9/1
Only 12 starts for this fella who went on a 4 race winning streak then steped up to stakes company and ran a solid 2nd has had 2 runs since but he has not done quite as well but he has been running on, which gives me the impresion the extra 3 furlongs will assist his cause. With J Kohlmorgen in the sadle I think if an outsider is going to win it will be him. Look for a big run at nice odds.
Look out for ROIDAZOID(IRE) to get a flyer out of the gates and go straight to the lead with WINDYS BEST KNIGHT to sit just behind with a long gap to the rest of the field and an even longer gap to BUSH PADRE who will get distanced in the first half of the race. at about the 6f pole I expect the top hoses to start making moves from the back HATE THE JINTS, OL TWINKLE TOES(IRE) & RIVER SCENTS(IRE) won’t quite handle the pace as MISWAKI APPROVAL & FORMER DEVIL set out after ROIDAZOID(IRE) & WINDYS BEST KNIGHT. At the 2f pole WINDYS BEST KNIGHT takes the lead from ROIDAZOID(IRE), MISWAKI APPROVAL & FORMER DEVIL are running on late but at the WINDYS BEST KNIGHT wins by a length from MISWAKI APPROVAL with FORMER DEVIL & ROIDAZOID(IRE) in a photo for 3rd a further half length away. Sugested bet box trifecta 2,5,6,8
