The HER SHIN Bonanza Stakes
1. 9270 UNBRIDLED’S SPIRIT burn1down 3/1 . A 3yo filly by Unbridled’s Song. She has 4 wins from 8 dirt starts, and she likes to stay near the pace before making her move. She has never ran past 6.5f, but I think she can handle the extra half furlong. Has 1 starts this year and it was a win in a 6f stakes with a career high 86 SP. Now since this will be a sloppy track, she has the most experience on a wet track. She started out her career running in 3 straight wet tracks with two wins and a third. SO this gives her a edge over the rest.
2. 14098 MRS. FOCKER maltese 3/1. A 3yo filly by Noble Silence. She is one of the less well bred horses in here looking at the others pedigree but she might be better then some in here. Her sprint record is a impressive 4(3,1,0). She won at 6, 6.5 and 7.5f, the 7.5f race being a stakes race. If she gets to the front early most of the time she will win. However there will be two other horses that run this way as well so not sure if she can do that here. The wet track is a question but if she can handle it, she’ll probably come in the top 3.
3. 12744 ANOTHER THRILL wilkes 5/2 . A 3yo filly by Seeking the Gold. She’s the 5/2 favorite in here but is also the least experienced horse in here with only 5 career starts. She made a switch from turf to dirt and now has 3 career races on dirt though in all she came in 2nd in each one. She much prefers the dirt over turf but I think she looks more like a router then sprinter. She likes to stay near the pace before making her move, she ran at 7f once and she went to the lead and got a little tired coming in 2nd. I’ll have to pick against her here and don’t expect her to win.
4. 56622 KOKAL prizipio 3/1 . A 3yo filly by AP Indy. She already has 13 career races and is the most experienced when it comes to running In her 13 races she only has1 win though. Her career started out average getting mostly 60 something SP’s. But lately she has been improving. In her first race of the year she came in 2nd in a 6f allowance. Then 2 weeks ago she came in 2nd again but fired off a career high 93 SP which is the highest in this field. In that race she finished 2d to a graded place horse, so I think she can pull of a win here if she keeps improving.
5. 7785 MORE THAN HIS freddurst 3/1 . A 3yo filly by More Than Ready. broke her maiden in her 5th career try, where she switched from sprinting to routing, and since then she has run well winning 3 of her last 5. She likes to come from off the pace and there will be some speedsters here so there is a chance for her. Her SP’s are little lower than some of the rest in here, but only by couple points. She won a 5.5f stakes two back then just placed in a 7.5 stakes. I think she might be a better router than sprinter but who knows. She’ll be closing late I expect her in the top 3.
