C’mon Aussie, shatter the English dreams

PROUD LOMOND – Having found the Australian tracks keep eluding him, Proud Lomond is heading to the land where the Ashes have eluded them for a number of years.  This young colt is finding it difficult to develop a consistent race pattern and at 7/2 I’d imagine bbudgies is expecting anything from this race.

PASS THE BUCK(IRE) – The group races were too classy for this colt so a normal stakes appeared to be the next option.  In his last run he ran like he would have struggled in a claimer but expect a bold showing and huge turnaround here in England.

RUBISON THE SECOND(AUST) – This older horse from Australia has run 2 very quick times in his last 2 outings which have been here in England.  The Aussie horse is looking to do what all Aussies manage to do and that is shatter the hopes of the English.

SPINNING RAINBOW – A big query over this very smartly bred colt who has gone from winning a claimer last start to a stakes race.  Last year he showed his best form in England and is looking to head back to that happy hunting ground this week.

MONKIDLE – The favourite here is at the absolute limit of his distance and I would prefer to see him ran over a mile.  With over half a million dollars in earnings and proven stakes success, it will be no surprise to see monkidle cross the line first.

MENACING – Allowance races have been evidently too easy for this young colt and a stakes race is the next and necessary step.  He may be menacing the field as they turn for home but inexperience in stakes my prove too overwhelming.

A. P. SLEW II – Very impressive breeding has helped earn over half a million dollars for this horse.  However, his last run is not a good indication of form as he ran off track and this can be a little misleading as his true best form was some time ago.
