Six Attempt to Open A New Door

Six runners are entered into this event with hopes that a strong showing will boost them forward into a successful three years old campaign.  A strong showing in this event will open a new door of opportunity, while a poor output may put others on a different path.

He broke his maiden (three weeks ago) in his two year old debut, and is returning for his second start in stakes competition.  He was impressive in his debut, has sound breeding, but this may be a bit too big of a jump for him.  

Ten Most Wanted x Wild Again

After a mediocre debut, he bounced back with an impressive gate to wire win in his return trip.  That victory was at this distance, and he finished strongly in his win.

Peaces Rules x Chester House

Already a veteran of nine starts (7 ITM performances) he has tested some stiff competition.  His owner has not been hesitant to place in stakes event after stakes event, and this may serve to reward him in this event.

A winner of one of eleven starts, he is another runner that should be familiar with the expectations of running.  He comes into this event with a nine race losing streak, and I am a bit surprised he has not been tested at a longer distance or lower class event.  His strong run two races back should alert handicappers that he has the talent to be a threat.

A maiden after nine trips- he has been tested on dirt and turf at various distances.  This is event may not be the place for his next test. 

Gone West x Danzig

Definitely the class of the field- A winner of three of six events, he is a two time stakes winner and already nearing the four hundred thousand in earnings.

riviledged is a proven performer and should be the target of the rest of the field.  scotty doesnknow benefited from his debut start and showed what he had learned from it in his second race triumph.  GARY’S PRIDE comes in off of an impressive run and hopes to build on that success.
