Competitive Field Ready To Plastic Golem

Ohio- Today in The Sheryl’s Hill Stakes is a powerful field of 8. All horses, 3 years old and up, A mile and three eighths on the Firm Turf Course, Purse : $50,000.

Number one is CL CLANDOR owned by pokerace. He’s 4 for 12 and in all races comes from extremely far back. Hasn’t been that sucessful since a year ago. Will have a tough time and looks like horse will lose a fourth stakes race straight.

The second horse happens to be CLASSY BOY owned by showboat. Is a closer just like CL and first race off the layoff wasn’t good, but I have seen many horses do much better in their second or third off the layoff. Will be interesting to see what this one is capable of. Should run well.

Lenny5 and Stolen Thunder are going for their eigth win together. Stolen Thunder is a nice looking 8 year old filly who has been doing much better in last two starts than previously. Won a stakes race two back, should be a nice competetor to the boys.

Secretary Sahkee is going for three straight wins. Deep closer like most of the field. Negatives now, the horse came out of two allowances, not stakes races. Also, the jockey J Elizondo, is only 6%. Don’t know what to say about this one.

5th Post Position was drawn for Plastic Golem. At six years old is 33rd in division and just had a horrible 14 furlong race. Before that however she had a triple digit 11 furlong race. Will be dangerous if horse did not bounce.

Bestest(IRE)- Only is the bestest if owner believes believes the saying first is the worst, second is the best, and third is the one with the treasure chest. Anyway, was in a $50,000 claimer earlier this year, and was claimed. Since the claim has been in stakes and done very well. Race might be just a bit too tough though.

64/1 is HIDDEN LAKE. Way too slow, will finish distance behind the field, no chance unless Mike starts allowing steroids.

MUCH DRIVE completes the field. Going for a fifth win in 5 years of racing. Will not have any chance at winning, and little chance for top three.
