A small filed of six for todays feature for the ladies over a mile on the turf course. At least four of the six are in with a chance although there is a short priced favourite on the morning line. Looks like an intersting race.
ANALYZE THIS(IRE) Has been running in graded rteces recently icluding a brilliant second in a grade I over 9f. She was closing that day though and this looks to be a change in trip of the wrong direction. Needs upped to 10f not dropped to 8f. Will struggle for pace today.
ED’S VALENTINE LC The favourite thanks to two placed efforts in stakes recently both producing over 100 sp’s. Those were on dirt however and she was closing at the finish. Her best recent run has also been over further and for me that means too many question marks at her starting price. One to take on today- can make the top three but not sure about the win.
GRAINNE(IRE) The outsider of the field having been running in mainly allowances on dirt. However her latest start produced a turf win with a 90sp and was an improvement on previous efforts. Can run a big race and may even sneak a top three fimish.
ACCOUNT FOR THIS Is another allowance runner but she too has improved recently. Thsi looks her distance and she’ll run well but only a top five finish for me.
ED’S GIANT AZ(IRE) Has been running in stakes over a variety of distances but has been generally struggling. Her best runs have come at around the 10f mark and she may want a little further, say 12f. This looks too short although there are some sprinting genes in her pedigree in Fairy King. Tough one to weigh up but on balance I think she wants further and will struggle.
PARADISE ANGEL Has run some good races recently at allowanc elevel but this is her first stakes run. Has her distance and apart from a disapointing run latest looks the likely winner. Hopefully that was jsut an off-day and she can close from the rear to take this with a length to spare.
