We have 7 two years olds going to post in Saturday’s Vice Louis Turf Juvenile with a purse of $30,000. We won’t have any of the big names here with several graded races running around the world this week, but it is still a nice field. A Yielding Turf course is going to pare the field fast only one of our starters has run on this type of surface, and he’s one of the early favorites.

The son of SHAKESPEARE has one race under his belt, he showed a little promise finishing 2nd making up a 1 1/2 lengths coming home, a longshot here at best. He could be a spoiler if everything goes his way.

The son of LIMEHOUSE is going straight from claiming to listed. The bookies have him at 14/1, I’m not sure i disagree here, but I’ve seen 2 year olds do amazing things. Longshot at best, I’d use him in a tri-box

The son of NORTHERN METEOR has been very impressive going 3 for 4 on the purse sheet, and has been improving with each start. His last start he made up 4 1/2 lengths in the drive to the wire to finish 2nd. Look for him to be in the hunt at the end.
