5) amber birds
deepesr11 farm
g buster                                    16/1

Out of the deepesr11 farm is this AMBER GREY colt out of the Sim Mare MSRUNNING BIRDIE. He comes in off back to back eighth place Stakes finishes with the most recent coming at this same distance. Began his career with five straight starts on the grass but seems to have settled in nicely on the dirt. Ran a career best 90 speed two back and will need to improve greatly on that to have a chance here today.

12) mcquacken
lightng124 farm
n hawks                                    30/1

Out of the lightng124 farm is this three year old MCCRAKEN colt out of the Sim Mare ZEBRULA. He has finished in the money in five of his seven career starts. Ran third in his first start under new management after moving to his third farm in early December. Should continue to show improvement as the 2020 campaign continues but will likely be over matched in this one.

10) trippicist
myt4go7 farm
b bennington                              6/1

Out of the myt4go7 farm is this three year old TRIPPI colt mare out of the Sim Mare TAPITSTRY. He comes in off a second place finish at an Allowance Race in Idaho where he ran career best 95 speed and was beaten just a quarter length. He makes a return to the dirt here after back to back starts on the lawn. He has had success on both surfaces but has a Stakes win and Grade 2 runner-up on his dirt resume. He will one to watch out of the ten hole and we could see him top 100 speed for the first time.

11) the road to vaes
given10 farm
b gulch                                     5/1

Out of the given10 farm is this three year old QUALITY ROAD colt out of the Sim Mare VAES DOTHRAK. He has finished in the money in six of his career starts with his only blemishes coming in his last two. Prior to that he had a nice stretch that included a Stakes win, Grade 2 third, and a runner-up at the Grade 1 “North Fork Stakes”. He should like the distance here and will look to stay in the middle of the pack before making his move down the stretch. Looks like a good bet to find a spot on the board.

7) razor crest
rdyplyr1

q daimoji                                  5
/1

Out of the rdyplyr1 farm is this three year AMERICAN PHAROAH colt out of the Sim Mare STRONG STYKE. He comes in off an runner up finish at an allowance race where he ran an impressive 96 speed in just his third career start. He finished off his two-year old campaign with a big win at this same distance when he went to the front early and crossed the line ahead of second place finisher PIRATE INDICA. May be inexperienced but will bring lots of speed and could be a nice surprise.

4) imbil thasuz
chatham03 farm
ba scott                                                7/1

Out of the chatam03 farm is this three year old WAR FRONT colt out of the Sim Mare GUTHA SUZUKI. He has finished in the money in three of his four career starts including two wins with the most recent coming last time out when he ran 94 speed at this same distance. Makes his Stakes debut against this competitive group but should compete and challenge for a spot on the board.

3) mo em again
davispaz farm
t kimura                                    8/1

Out of the davispaz farm is this three year old MO TOWN colt  mare out of the Sim Mare DOUBLE RODS. Started his career with a streak of three straight wins and ended the campaign with a Stakes win at the “URC – Hopes and Dreams” where he ran 94 speed over a mile track. Made the jump to Grade 3 last time out but was never in the mix and finished a disappointing ninth. Will look to rebound here and might need to flirt with 100+ speed to have a chance to take home the win here against this field of twelve.

2) stay on the road
phillipj3 farm
go warren                                  7/1

Out of the phillipj3 farm is this three year old STAY THIRSTY gelding out of the Sim Mare DEPUTY AJINA. He comes in hot with three wins in his last four starts with the most recent coming at his home track where he came from mid pack and blazed 96 speed in an easy win. Seems comfortable at a mile and may be able to add a bit of distance in the future. Should be a factor here and may get his first Stakes victory.

1) ancient lamb
badlamb3 farm
m hobley                                               7/1

Out of the badlamb3 farm is this three year old NEOLITHIC colt out of the Sim Mare LAMBSLAM. Our most experienced entry makes his eleventh start here and looks for his sixth win and third Stakes win. Will go a mile for the first time here with his previous start of 7.5 furlongs being the longest of his career. He ran 95 speed and finished second in that one, the “Magical Act Dirt Dash”, and seemed to have lots in the tank coming home. This is a tight field and will be a close race but he will be one to keep an eye on for sure.

8) crafted by dude
deeprock15 farm
j nawbo                                     26/1

Out of the deeprock15 farm is this three year old EL KABEIR colt out of the Sim Mare REAL MARMALADE. He comes in off four straight Poly starts that resulted in two wins, a runner-up and a fourth. Has not run on the dirt since his debut last April when he finished tenth and trotted 52 speed. Ran career best 85 speed last time out and will need a big jump in that number if he wants to compete against this group that are ready to break out and top 100 for the first time. Interested to see how he responds to the dry dirt track here in New Mexico.

9) og nyquist strike
baffsaf farm
c morten                                   5/1

Out of the baffsaf farm is this three year old NYQUIST colt out of the Sim Mare JUNGLE SMART He has finished in the money in five of his seven career starts. Has had Stakes success in his past two having finished third in the “Akula Dirt Juvenile” and the “Critical Reasoning Dirt Memorial”. That experience should serve him well and he should be in the mix as they head for home.

6) frosty niner
bmr11 farm
d sturbed                                  14/1

Out of the bmr11 farm is this three year old scratch bred FROSTED ( X FORT NINER X STORMY ATLANTIC) colt . He comes in off his first career win having impressed with 90 speed in taking home a 7.5 furlong race to begin the 2020 campaign. Is our most inexperienced runner but may turn a few heads and surprise as he competes from gate number six.
