slewsback2 farm
v mckellar                                           4/5

Out of the slewsback2  farm is this three year old PALACE MALACE filly out of the Sim Mare PHONE THE HOUSE. She comes in off a third place finish in the Grade 3 “The Old Cap” where she ran 93 speed over 6.5 furlongs. Prior to that she had back to back Stakes wins with the first coming in her debut 2020 race. Will race for the third time this year as she is being raced every two weeks and at this pace will compete in her 35th career start sometime next December. Interested to see what affect if any the short rest has on her performance.

5) yucatan wind
skull farm
n hawks                                   5/1

Out of the skull farm is this three year old scratch bred JOHANNESBURG ( X GONE WEST X DEPUTY MINISTER ) filly. She has finished in the money in four of her five career starts with her only blemish being an eleventh place finish at a Stakes race that ran a mile. Prefers to sprint and won her Maiden at this same distance. May need to build on have career best speed of 84 to find a spot on the board here but should be in the mix.

1) bowl of beauty
jbcri39 farm
b bennington                           6/1

Out of the jbcri39 farm is this three year old LAOBAN filly out of the Sim Mare HILLARY STEP. She comes in with five wins in eight career starts and last time out ran 84 speed in a wire to wire victory at an Allowance race in Kansas. Has a Stakes win and third on her resume and finished fourth at the Grade 3 “Arizona Shoot Out Special”. She will like this distance and should be in the mix as they come down the home stretch.

4) wood winds
skull farm
m hobley                                 5/2

The second entry out of the skull farm is this three year old scratch bred LION HEART ( X WOODMAN X DEHERE ) filly. She comes in off back to back wins including an impressive Stakes win two back at the “Fleet of Four Dirt Juvenile Fillies” where she blazed 92 speed. She will be tough to beat if she can repeat that number again and is a good bet to find a spot on the board against this field of five.

3) tapit’s minister
d sturbed                                 8/1

Out of the bmr007 farm is this three year old scratch bred TAPIT ( X DEPUTY MINISTER X SUMMER SQUALL) filly.  She comes in off a runner-up finish last time out where she was beaten by a nose after running 82 speed at this same distance. She will need to improve on that here today if she hopes to compete with this group.
