IT’S WORTH WHAT?

It’s Worth What? Is a Brand new Television Show, on the NBC Television Network. The show is hosted by “Cedrick” The Entertainer. On the show, contestants have to compare items and pick, which is worth more! In the “Sim”, We are forced to make such comparisons on a daily basis. It is these daily judgments that separate trainers. In many cases the choices may seem insignificant at the time. But as in RL, it is our personal choice’s that truly matter and determine our destinies!

These choice’s/comparison’s start immediately in the “Sim”. Your very first choice is,whether to play or not? Next you are confronted with a choice of horses. If you have never played the game? We usually make this choice blind and later need to adjust our choices, based on the type of game we want to play(claiming stable, home-breeding, ect.). Thankfully, game play is a long term affair and we have plenty of time to adjust our decisions. Actually game play is a series of constant adjustment, just as life is.

After picking your horses. I hope your next choice is to learn all you can about the game, through research(there are many sources of information). Find them! Your next fork in the road, will be your decision to start racing or filling in your empty slots. My suggestion is to start racing and figure out what you have.

If you have chosen racing? You will need to study your horses, before finding races for them and if you do not understand what “Conditions” are? You should find out before selecting races. “Conditions” are the basis of race selection and the key to racing successfully! Even with a racing background, I didn’t fully understand it’s importance! In the “Sim”, it doesn’t only determine elgibility, but entry as well.

If you haven chosen filling empty slots? Your only practical options at this point are claiming or auction. To get off to a fast start without using valuable Bp’s, You will need to visit the auction and make a choice of horses. Using the auction only cost’s sim bux. Claiming Horse’s, cost both “sim” bux and Bp’s

Your third option for building your stable is Breeding. Which leads to another choice, saving up Bp’s or buying Credits(you can also earn Credits by writing articles for the BTB). I recommenced playing for a while, before choosing to breed. The physical act of breeding is easy. Understanding the dynamics of breeding a successful horse is not.

Another decision you will need to make eventually,is whether to play by yourself or join a residency. A Residency is a club, where you can house your stables, learn from other players, enter contests and be part of something bigger than yourself(a team). Again, I suggest researching the possibilities before choosing!

The common theme here is doing the research! Before making your choices. This game can be a wonderful experience and for many of us a lifestyle. But your choices are critical and by educating yourself, you will save you time in the long run. Plus insure yourself of a positive experience.
