Dolly Prummond Stakes Grade III
1. 24838 SPINNING NINES infinity 9/1. A 3yo filly by Spinning World. Has raced at this distance twice, her first 2 starts as a 2yo, a stakes coming in 3rd and a allowance coming in 1st. In sprint race her record is nice looking 10(5,3,1). She likes to be near or on the lead. Two races back she lost a G1 7f race by a head. However her SP will have to improve by at least 10 to win this. I could see her finishing in the top 4.
2. 90310 PUENTELARRA har 5/2. A 4yo filly by Sadler’s Wells is the 5/2 favortie here. THe 4th rank filly in sprinting. She has ran twice at this distance which was last year in a G3 and G2 picking up a 3rd and 1st place finish both with 111 SP. Just won a G3 6f dirt race with a 110 SP beating the second choice, the #10 filly in this race. Likes to be on the lead, looks like she might get it and go wire to wire or burn out which has happened to her; but it looks very likley that she will win this or come in 2nd. I think she will come in second to the #10 in here.
3. 38005 QUETZALCOATAL gordonlyn 14/1. A 3yo filly by Capote. In her last 3 races she has come in 3rd in each. Which include a stakes and a allowance at this distance. Her SP #’s are kind of low compared to almost everyone in here except one. She likes to come from behind, but might get out closed by some others, chances don’t look to good.
4. 49991 BEAN’S LUCK jobean 9/1. A 4yo filly by Holy Bull. She raced at this distance five times. She started out the year good and then leveled off, but seems to be regianing her form in her last 2. Both which were races at this distance and were stakes, came in 1st and had a 3rd. She can come from behind like her last race from 10 lengths back to losing by 1 length or stay near the pace like 2 races back. Her SP’s will have to improve to make a impact here though and wouldn ‘t be surprised if she did.
5. 38707 GOLD MANIA twoofus 16/1. A 3yo filly by Unreal Zeal is the longest shot in here. She has raced three times at this distance, all 3 being allowance races but also won all 3. Her SP # have been improving her last 6 races and is riding a 3 race win streak. Raced only once in a stakes this year coming in 4th at 7f. She likes to come from the back. She would have loved a off track as 4 of her 6 career wins were on a wet surface. Not sure if she can handle this company
6. 51523 PAGING DR. PROFIT theprofit6 9/1. A 4yo filly by Langfuhr. Has raced twice at this distance coming in 3rd and 4th. Came in 2nd a G2 6f race four back but on a wet track. Hasn’t done anything really well in her last three. I don’t think she will be able to do well in this G3 field.
7. 17843 WITCHY WOMAN babes 5/1, A 5yo mare by Saint Ballado. Has raced four times at this distance with a record of 4(2,0,1). Also note that she ran career best races at this distance with SP’s of 115, 107, and 108 some in graded races. Her 2 best races this year was at this distance both in G2 field. However hasn’t been running well lately. Just lost a 6.5f regular stakes race coming 12th, wear and tear factor might be hitting her. If she regains her form, she can be a threat.
8. 15304 FLYING PHOENIX(AUS) black 11/1. A 3yo filly by a less known sire Bel Esprit. Broke her maiden as a 2yo at this distance, this year three races back she came in 3rd in a stakes. She has been running in stakes and graded stakes races a lot this year, she has done decently in most of them. You could throw her last race 12th place finish since it was a wet track. The race before that was her first time facing 3yo and up and put up a career high 108 SP winning at 7f. Facing elders again maybe she can put on another career race, it’s only way she can do well here.
9. 35667 BRAHMIDE gdf 10/1. A 4yo filly by Brahms. Has raced at this distance a bit and did well, except most of them were starter allowance races. Came in 9th in her last start at 6.5f. Unfortunately her SP’s don’t look good enough to do well in here.
10. 86920 BIRDS OF PARADISE dixiedotco 7/2. A 4yo filly by Seeking the Gold. She has come in the money 22 of 26 starts. Record at 6.5f is 8(3,4,0), she also has 12 starts this year and she hasn’t been worse then 2nd in any, includes couple of graded stakes. She likes to go to the lead and go wire to wire, but she has shown in her last two that she can be of the pace and close to be right there at the end. Got beat by the favorite(#2) in here last time out, I htink she will reverse that here and win this.
